That’s the worst I’ve ever seen Eubank and Benn still couldn’t win. Any top 147/154 fighter in their prime stops Benn, he’s crap.

I seriously hope there’s no rematch unless Eubank uses his bargaining power and insists on a 162/163 catchweight with at most a 10% rehydration restriction for the morning of the fight.

These fine margins in weight make a massive difference. We’ve always known Chris Jr is not a great boxer but he got by on athleticism and his warrior spirit. He has no real athletic advantage at MW anymore. He’s 35 ffs still boiling down to 160 after spending a couple years operating at 168 against very heavy punchers.

Benn is a small domestic level welterweight with a famous dad. I'm surprised he did aswell as he did tonight. When the fight was announced I didn't think it would be competitive, so he did much better than expected. Eubank needs to retire now, he's nothing left and Hearn needs to give his head a wobble suggesting a rematch.

They were talking like Benn was a Bantam fighting a Heavy, he was fighting an old and clearly aged weight drained guy who was fighting at 168 eight years ago, being made to fight at 160 with a rehydration clause.

Fair play to both of them. Close but Eubank the deserved winner on the night.

Still say benns still at the cheating on the peds. We all seen him against the french kid and in other fights. Sometimes the powers there and sometimes it isnt.

It seems like you arent born with power afterall.....it just depends if it fancies turning up on the night or not.

    Rematch.

    No rehydration clauses.

Only sensible option for eubank. He should retire, but there's 5-10mill on the table to run it again. He literally cannot move at 160.

His legs look like they had gone but he showed top bollocks in there to grind it out. If there is a rematch I hope Eubank says no to any rehydration clause.

100% he is still on drugs. Just look at his physique and lack of explosiveness in the first Peynaud fight and compare it to now.

He has improved massively in terms of technical ability but his rapid improvement in athleticism is pure roids.

It would be like Campbell Hatton suddenly showing incredible explosiveness and the ability to hurt people out of nowhere, then jumping up the weights.

    It’s so obvious.

Yup, I think Snr being there likely raised him 10-15%, and that was what pushed him over the line; no way he was going to fold like he did against Smith and it was probably the same with Benn.

Both run themselves into the ground, emptied the tank and more but they also took a lot of shots, especially Benn in the last two rounds.

Correct decision. Eubank outlanded Benn by quite a considerable margin.

The money will be hard to resist but he should retire 100%.

He'll never be the same again after tonight.

Don’t care if Benn showed heart, courage or whatever like all the media pages are now posting. He’s still a horrible little drug cheat and I’m glad the **** got beat.
