Punch stats showing eubank landed 150 more punches than benn. Outpunched benn in every single round.

You have to laugh at all the outraged casuals who don't seem to understand swinging wildly and missing doesn't score points

Incan see on my IG feed that a ton of casuals agree with Hearn on the basis that Eubank’s face was more busted. Sums them up.

Glad Eubank won but he's clearly done at that weight especially with silly clauses that have no place in boxing in my opinion.
He should only entertain a rematch if there is no rehydration clause you could see it killed him he looked fuced after 7 rounds but his heart saw him through.

And with the odds heavily stacked in his favour, Benn lost.

No sympathy for him and his team. They can all go and cry together.

Benn is crap any boxer with half decent footwork and upper body movement would have made him look silly. Eubank also not much better, a pair of pretenders. Funny how Benn didn't seem to gas at all, his stamina was eggsellent.

I think the real winner was Eubank both literally and figuratively. The man was weight drained, had to go through hell to make weight and was set up as the fall guy for Benn bug showed amazing grit to do what most people wanted. Benn and his team talked all that **** about him splattering big guys all over the ring and how Eubanks chin had gone and he would be out of there in 4, based on that narrative Eubank should be getting all the credit. Don't get me wrong Benn hung in there but everything that has gone on in the past with him puts a question mark over him. In regards to him going back down to 147 I honestly think he will get smashed by any one operating at world level

They all reckon it’s the best fight they’ve ever seen too.

I can’t think of a better 12th round I’ve seen, not technicality but for heart, determination and action. Eubank certainly got something from within for that 12th.

I think it’s safe to say Conor has been back using PEDs between camps.

He seemed to have never ending stamina, despite carrying a lot more weight and swinging with everything, and being caught loads.

Probably been covered but very poor commentary on SKY. Made it sound close, which is why the casuals are all shouting robbery and claiming it to be a draw/Benn win (obviously fuelled by Hearn too).

Although Benn had the speed, Jnr was fully in control throughout in my view. 116-112 seems fair on Benn too - could have gone wider, so shouldn’t have any complaints at all.

Not sure what the terms are for the re-match? But if the weight/rehydration clauses are the same then Jnr needs to think long and hard because last night he did look sluggish and lethargic and if he was fighting someone at a higher level then it would have ended badly last night.

Yes, it was an entertaining fight, and I enjoyed watching it. However, in terms of the level of both men, top end British? Maybe European title level? Not going to say Father Time has caught up with Jnr as he made it look relatively simple/straight forward, and I think it was more to do with the weight/rehydration clause but he was a shadow of his self - let’s not forget he’s 35 too so 7 years on Benn.

Financially Jnr will be taking the loot in the rematch but personally don’t think he should take it if the weight/rehydration clause is the same. Especially considering his age/6 months older.

Honestly boxing commentary is shocking. It's just appallingly bad at the moment and makes people who don't understand what they are watching think they see something its not.

How long do we have to put with them? Imagine paying 20 pound to listen to Natasha Jonas and Matt Macklin keep going on about Chris Eubank JNR age WHILST he’s landing punches.

That commentary last night was so far off it , was bordering on disgraceful.

why should we pay premium price for amateur coverage?
