I'm actually shocked by some of the scorecards I'm seeing.

Eubank outscored Benn every single round and whilst I can see maybe Benn getting rounds 2 and 3 early on because of the power punches he landed in those 2 rounds and hurting Eubank in the 3rd, I don't think he won much else after round 6, bar rounds 8 and 9 and I think the 9th was pretty much 50/50 from memory.

I think people are giving him far too much credit, the punch stats alone after round 6 for Eubank are way higher then Benn and that's across all the rounds.

I honestly felt I was watching a different fight to people on here! 116-112 was absolutely fine and even one round more for Eubank would of been, I didn't think it was a difficult fight to score.

Not really if you had scored one more round to Eubank you arrive at 116 -112.Are we really arguing over one round?

I'll have to look back at my actual round-by-round but had it 116-112 Eubank. Absolute furthest you could stretch it for Benn is 115-113 Eubank, but no chance of a draw or Benn winning

I had it 116-113 for Eubank watching it live and tallying

Couldn’t hear commentary where I was

I was in the cheap seats and could see that Eubank had taken over from round 3 onwards

    Think I had

    1: Benn
    2: Benn
    3: Benn
    4: Eubank
    5: Eubank
    6: Eubank
    7: Eubank
    8: Eubank
    9: Benn
    10: Eubank
    11: Eubank
    12: Eubank

Watched it back and felt it was pretty much spot on, aside from Eubank winning the first

Has anyone mentioned the AI judge scorecard?

The AI judge scored the contest in favour of Eubank Jr, turning in a wider scorecard of 117-111. The stats backed up the AI judge. Eubank Jr landed 43, 52 and 57 punches in the final three rounds, compared to Benn's 40, 30 and 29. He also dominated in other areas, landing 140 jabs from 350 attempts (40 per cent), with Benn connecting with just 35 of 137 jabs thrown (25.5 per cent). On power punches Eubank Jr landed 227 from 562 thrown (40.4 per cent), compared to Benn's 180 from 456 (39.5 per cent).
