Good fight. Leon has the ability to win this, but overall I favor Williams with his height, reach, and skill.

Williams is way better peak to peak, and still probably way better when comparing mediocre versions of both guys. I like Spinks but he doesn't size up to most good quality heavyweights.

I would favor Williams even though he was not a great heavyweight but he had the reach and punching power to edge Spinks in a close fight. Williams would be smart enough to stay away from Spinks punching power and do jusy enough to win.

Williams wins a wide UD , fact is after his loss to Ali Leon went 19-16-2,,, he wasn't any good, he was just the pinnacle of being at the right spot at the right time when Ali was a finished fighter.

For me, Williams was a great, underrated fighter. In his prime, he had to fight for the title against Holmes and Tyson, and then he was robbed of a third opportunity against Witherspoon. He had one of the best jabs and would surely be in the top 5 today. His biggest problem was his jaw.

Would pick Michael Spinks to beat the version of Ali that his brother beat, but not sure I'd favor Leon to beat the Holmes that Michael beat.

I was wondering who I would hook with that post. After months of wriggling on the hook ... it's Seamus! Meh.

Joe Biden would have beaten that version of Ali ;)

I smelled fresh bait but couldn't resist.

And now it sounds like Old Joe has the Big C.
