Rolly skill level, balance looks like a 1930s fringe contender but apparently that was enough to beat Ryan
I think I can consider him a world level fighter following that win, considering what Garcia did to Haney. He's still miles away from being elite though, don't see him doing very well against the top of the welterweight division. Still lost to limited Pitbull and got a gift against Barroso
This is why fighters have to fight each other. Rolly has a bad record because he’s fought everyone he could. Make Tank, Teo, Ryan, Rolly, Loma, Haney all fight each other no one will be undefeated.
I guess it's true when they say that Ryan is a one trick pony. Relies too much on his speed and left hook to win fights.
I like Rolly. He was very humble, did not talk trash pre fight. Just a good guy , and can clown when he needs to. He deserves his flowers.
He's pretty limited, but he did well to stay disciplined and was able to bamboozle Garcia by keeping things simple with body jabs, a tight guard and a few feints. Also was able to up his workrate and intensity in the final third to seal the deal on the cards. He's been much maligned over the years and you can see why, but I'm happy he was able to score a big win and derail some of the Kingry hype in the process.
Rolly is a limited fighter. Garcia is a limited fighter. Rolly is better than Garcia, but it doesn't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things.
