Commentators ruined that fight for me. I couldn't concentrate fully on the second half of the fight because they had me so riled up, due to their blatant Canelo brown-nosing. So I can't really comment on the second half sadly, or say who won which round. I've not got an issue with Canelo or anything like that, I respect him. I'm not even claiming he lost. If I rewatched it and concentrated fully on the second half of the fight without the commentators, I'd be able to give a proper opinion. But I think I would probably end up scoriing it similar to the two judges who scored it close. All I know is, Scull was clearly winning a lot of them rounds in the first half. And that was down to Canelo's inactivity. He was just following him around the ring but not actually doing anything. Yes, it's fine to hate Scull's style, I understand that, but as commentators, you shouldn't let that cloud your judgement on what is actually happening. I guarantee if it was Devin Haney they'd have a different view on it. He was outboxing Canelo clearly in those first few rounds. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Who was the guy who said boxers like Scull should be deducted a point for "not fighting?" That almost made me throw my PC. Seriously, how unprofessional was that?

Gotta give credit to Danny Jacobs when they brought him in for his take, for being the voice of reason and telling those fools in the nicest possible way what was really going on. I think it surprised them and made them question things slightly. Honestly, rather than Scull, every single one of them should be ashamed at their own performance tonight.

I’ve read this forum on fight nights for years.

I signed up as that fight was so bad that I can’t possibly keep that to myself.

    Woeful.

I’ll be more positive from now on.

Wow who would have thought the supposed stacked boxing weekend cards that was meant to excite the fans turned out to be a total disaster?

I seriously hope tomorrows fight with Inoue vs Cardenas and the rest of the fights on that card doesn’t turn out to be another disaster. Don’t let us down Monster.

Not sure what you should expect from a man who has such a God complex that he makes everyone call him His Excellency. Makes me cringe in the press conferences when every fighter has to thank him and address him before they answer their first question. No amount of money could allow me to put aside my pride and do all that ****. Which is probably why I'll never amount to much in life  But hey some things in life are more important. :naughty:

Turki is the first one in the change rooms claiming he's owed Canelo's post-fight BJ.

Sounds like I didn't miss much last night.

Canelo looking bad against a mover shouldn't have been too big a shock he's always had issues with that style and it doesn't seem like anything has changed.

I remember when Canelo/Crawford was first suggested not many gave Bud a chance, I was one of the few. Bud can win this, stylistically he's always been problematic for Canelo. But he can be hit and he hasn't felt power like Canelo's. Canelo's power can perhaps bail him out, but I expect him to be out boxed for much of the fight.

To be honest I think most of Canelo's weight comes from his neck. It's like a tree trunk.

It's not just that Canelo loooke bad against a mover, it's that the mover did absolutely nothing to show he was there to win.
