Tunney's ceaseless hammering of Gibbons would be my #1 pick:

Dick Tiger's most complete career performance IMO, his final fight w/ Giardello:

You could probably pick almost any prime Napoles fight for this topic, but I especially like the way he picks apart a mobile boxer like Pete Toro. Napoles reminds me of a cross between Tiger & SRL.

A good one was Duran vs. Cuevas.

Antonio Gomez. If you like Napoles, you'll like this guy too. Great win over Saijo who was class himself.

Great performance. Doesn't last long though.

James Toney vs Iran Barkley is the perfect example of aggressive counterpunching.

Also Salvador Sánchez vs Danny Lopez 1-2 and Juan Manuel Marquez vs Michael Katsidis.

I thought Watson Vs Benn was a great display of aggressive counters, some of them are difficult to see , but he is catching him loads of times, and a lot of really hard punches,

Schmeling's countering of Louis' lazy left jab comes to mind.

Someone mentioned Toney, who was a master of the catch and shoot.

If you want a fight where both guys are doing it, look no further than Qawi vs Holyfield.

I wouldn’t call Louis’s jab lazy at the time PERSONALLY are you stirring the pot a bit with the wording? you’re entitled to an opinion obviously and you’ve boxed longer then me, watched longer then me and were on the scene so I’m not trying to be a big mouth here(and I can be) but respectfully I don’t believe Louis’s jab was “lazy” that him “dropping his jab” as purported (fairly) was Schemlings doing not Louis’s it’s been simplified and stewed to the bones as “Louis just didn’t pick his hand up in the right position” but watching that fight checkout Schemlings lead foot and where he keeps it - how his legs get wider (not his right foot, just a creeping left foot.) and how Max keeps his weight back - MS was doing everything to make it fall short, shades of (and you’ll hate this) Rocky Marciano… other guys too, some who probably do it better but I couldn’t resist

Joan Guzman vs Humberto Soto is also a good showing of Guzman’s aggressive counterpunching. A wasted potential but certainly a gifted fighter.
