I don’t think Foster would have much success against the BETTER heavyweight opponents Moorer beat. I’m sure he’d beat a lot of the journeyman and trial horses that Michael fought above 200 though.
I think he comes unstuck at Mike White, not that he’d beat all the guys Moorer fought before White, I mean Mike White is the level of heavyweight Foster probably comes unstuck against, he’d also lose decisively to Alex Stewart who Moorer fought before White.
Someone like Bert Cooper probably flattens him early. MM's body was not built to stand in against the better full-sized heavies for that era, but it's a lot more HW-built than Bob's would ever be. A string of disasters.
6'3 is fairly tall for a light-heavyweight and even in the 90's, it was at least average for a heavyweight. Holyfield, Tyson, Moorer, Morrison etc. were all under 6'3. Foster would be relatively tall even in the 90's although not extremely tall.
I don’t think so Ferg, I don’t really credit Moorer much for his run at 175lbs in a P4P sense with his jump to HW in the same was as the other Moorebecause Moorer was a 6ft1-2? 210lber classically sized fighter, Foster was a real deal LHW.
