Mate, I couldn't care less if you are a Jew.

It's Zionism weaponised into genocide and ethnic cleaning I have an issue with.

Well by default, I usually re-watch the main event from Saturday night/early Sunday morning again after my Sunday afternoon roast.

I didn't today, and definitely will not ever re-watch that absolutely abysmal main event charade we witnessed in the wee hours.

What a shockingly bad weekends boxing it's been overall.

    Rant over.

Atrocious fight. May as well score every round 10-10.

I’m one of the few who likes Mannix’ scores, but he kept giving Canelo rounds for hitting Scull’s shadow. Though 2 judges probably got it right, It was 7-5 or 8-4 for Nelo.

Anyhow, beware Ginger, Bud is coming for you.

What does you being a Jew have to do with this discussion?

You're the one who brought that up and as usual made yourself some type of victim

    lmfao. “As usual”.

you randomly started spouting off the single most common anti semitic trope, in a boxing thread. I respond with, basically, “WTF?” You respond with another.

I come here to discuss boxing. Check my post history if you’d like. I don’t come here to discuss politics. I responded to your absurdity.

Honestly I find Canelo's performance to be much more unforgivable than Scull's; Scull is a relative nobody who managed to grind his way to a mandatory position and then a strap (though I do think he won the belt via robbery vs Shishkin). He was handpicked by Canelo as a showcase fight, and I can't blame him for keeping himself safe and taking the bag to provide for his family. Canelo on the other hand is a supposed P4P fighter and all time great; he already has multigenerational wealth and does not need to box. Regardless of how negative Scull was, to throw only fifteen (15) punches per round as a supposed great of the sport is utterly shameful; genuine greats of the sport, even in severe decline (or in Ali's case in the throes of Parkinson's disease) showed multitudes more fight and heart. And it is doubly shameful for Canelo to put all the blame on Scull, after all Canelo handpicked him in full knowledge of his style.

"he already has multigenerational wealth and does not need to box" ---there's your answer.

Canelo is no longer giving his 100% in the ring, he expects to just show up and beat fighters with his aura(and has been doing that to some extent). He's also clearly on the decline, so it's up to the opponent to step up and take advantage of that. HIs last 6 opponents have either been unable or unwilling to step up to the plate.

If Canelo shows up with this mindset vs Bud, he is losing the fight.
