    LoooL!!! Usyk. BY FAR!

And prime Usyk never lost. And I can’t envision a prime Usyk getting whooped as bad as Tyson did in Tokyo.

    Exactly ^

You're talking like Usyk wouldn't have a chance of being above them two:lol:. WTF. I'm pretty sure most people will have Usyk above Holyfield, especially if he retires undefeated. And plenty would have him over Lewis too.

I mean he is consistent in his training, as was prime Mike

What, by beating Joshua, and Fury twice? Or by rematching Dubois again?

No he didn't, as this era moves along the notion Joshua and Fury were heads and shoulders above the contenders does not hold

Fury and Joshua are both future hall of famers. And he was the underdog in the fights with them and massively undersized.

Mike Tyson had all his fights in the USA and was knocked out by a 42/1 underdog in Buster Douglas!, and knocked out by a 25/1 underdog in Evander Holyfield.

I tried to be respectful but if you're gonna troll then the real facts are Mike Tyson isn't fit to lace Usyk's gloves!!

No fighter could ever dominate every round (bar one) against Usyk like Holyfield did against Tyson, it was a mismatch. It's the the fight that perfectly illustrates that Mike Tyson was never a great fighter. Holyfield whooped his ass. Tyson was beaten physically and mentally that night. Holyfield bullied the bully. Tyson was thoroughly crushed, Holyfield was simply better every single aspect. Never would a truly great fighter like Usyk ever lose in a manner like this!

Fury great ? For arguably losing to an MMA fighter and only beating 3 top 10 ranked contenders in his whole career ? I'm sorry no Fury is certainly not a great in any criteria.

How is Briedis great ? His known for his losses more than his wins he lost to two of the best Cruiserweights of his era Usyk, Opetaia. He also got a huge gift vs Mikaelian that most felt he lost, and he has a grand total of 5 title wins. People throw around the word "great" alot without any context behind it. There's nothing on Briedis resume or achievements to suggest he's great just because he lost competitive fights to notable fighters.

Huck is not a great come off it and he was 2-2 in his last 4 fights and right at the end of his career.

Joshua HOF material ? He wouldn't even be in my top 30 Heavyweights of all time let alone being in the HOF.

You're not being respectful, you're being condescending.

You say Tyson got crushed by Holyfield and Douglas. Sure.

But so did Joshua. By an overweight obese tub of goo who did nothing ever since then.

Fury should have had a loss on his record early in his career against John McDermott

Anyone's record can be picked apart but at least Tyson was highly accomplished before losing and his record was significant better than Joshua's and Fury's.

I'm sorry, Tyson has a better career than Usyk despite the losses.

@UniversalPart The discussion was about Usyk and Mike Tyson, you're going off in different directions

Every fighter especially heavyweights seems to have off nights, APART from Usyk. That's what highlights his greatness, he shows up everytime, with everything against him and gets the job done, no excuses. His longevity and consistency is on another level to Tysons.

And I fully disagree with your better career comment as does 75% of the poll, and I find it laughable tbh.

Usyk as a boxer by far, as a brand - Tyson. For all of his flaws, he's only one of a handful of fighters alive who the global general public actually recognise. Depends on what angle you look at it from - Tyson is definitely the more marketable and exciting of the two, but technically, Usyk is on a whole other level.

Usyk has shown himself to be worthy to be in the discussion of the great heavyweights, but peak for peak it's Iron Mike.

    Tyson.

Spinks Usyk would have been a competitive fight. I can see Spinks winning that. Mike beats everyone on Usyk's resume.

A fine answer. I see no reason to build on it.

Seriously who the **** did ever start Boxing because they watched a Usyk fight?

Half of he people 40 years and older started Boxing because of Mike Tyson. Damn even that Jake Paul fight probably got some people to start Boxing.

Nobody gives a **** about Usyk.
