    Carl Froch?

    Just a random thought.

Yes. Marciano was also tougher, and a much harder puncher (including pound-for pound).

I'd say yes. Froch's jab was better though. Both men were underrated feinters.

More skilled on this inside, Froch was better at range, but Marciano was the far better fighter overall.

I’d say Marciano had a greater ring IQ, he set Walcott up, not out of luck, but because he read him, Walcott was trigger happy on that slip, right hand counter and Marciano faked a jab the get him to attempt a counter and Marciano had already read it and now it was time to execute it, so he slipped just enough to his left to avoid the right, but timed his own.

He would also tug on this opponents arms on the inside because he knew that would tire them out and most importantly mean they would struggle to keep their hands up.

He was very underrated in terms of IQ.

I like Froch but Marciano's ability to absolutely murder is all technique. If you think a 185er puts out 925 without perfect kinematic chains you need a few crash courses to get your critical thinking up to snuff.

It takes mad skills to look that skilless

God Yes -There isn’t even an inside fighter today at any weight class that could do what he did, he was pretty good.

I don’t know about “perfect kinetic chains” I’m not sure what you mean by that but if you mean he got in famously good shape and used his hips properly absolutely throwing at the arms will kill your wind like Foreman, you can turn your hips all day and it gives you access to short punches.

Doesn't matter. All of Marciano's best opponents were arguably more skilled than him and he beat them. Even if Froch is more skilled, he would get knocked out by Marciano.

    No.

In fact I would pick Froch to do a Bute on Rocky. Carl was bigger, more skilled and hit harder. Those are just the facts.

    Yes. Especially on the inside.
