Typical Vito fight: bloodbath with a lot of rough stuff (both ways). Jimmy Montoya’s guys were always in shape and always came to fight. Aldana is rough as hell and twice as awkward. Interesting seeing Freddie Brown and Panama Lewis both in Vito’s corner. Amazingly, after being cut on his forehead, the side of his head and over his eye, Vito was in the ring like 2 months later for the Hagler rematch.
Enjoyed the fight, James. I remember very well when it took place. Still have a poster from the card. Italian Night.
