No, it was not a factor. And I have no stake in the matter. As you said the damage to the nose was done with a punch. Why would I argue unless I genuinely disagreed? The fact is I'm debating this with emotional Cotto fans. I don't give a mother**** if Margarito gets run over by a bus tomorrow. The reality is Cotto couldn't possibly survive Margarito's onslaught, and a serious situation with his breathing - and still last more than 11 rounds. If you say otherwise either you don't know Cotto at all as a fighter, or you are utterly full of ****, with all due respect. But I know you're a generally good poster and clear thinker. Just not about this, right now. You aren't being honest with yourself. I do believe you think you're telling me the truth.

 

I've been reading your posts since you began posting here, and from day one..rather you admit it or not, it's clear you have a degree of dislike for Cotto. Yet, you're trying to make it seem like you have no preference for either fighter, when it's clear you do. You question others objectivity and say **** like "I don't care if Margarito gets run over by a bus tomorrow" in attempt to seem neutral. When that's not the case. Half of your posts are Miguel Cotto related, with the bulk of them being negative. You're implying me and the other Cotto supporters are emotional fans, so therefore, whatever we say is wrong, and you're right. When the fact of the matter is, you're the one being unreasonable.

But it's whatever. I know I'm not going to convince you to think otherwise, and vice versa.

 

I'm not for or against any fighter. You're 1000% wrong, and you're clearly exposing your own sensitivity to this Cotto stuff. Let me be clear about this - I am a fan of boxing, and the Welterweight class, has, and always will be one of my favorite divisions. My posts have been related to Cotto - why? Because I've just arrived on this forum since just before the time this big fight with Margarito took place, and it's a key matchup in the best division in the sport. I'm negative on Cotto because I said he would lose??? Because I accurately deconstructed his flaws and exposed his weakness in text? I'm telling the truth, my friend, and always have been. You are an honest guy, but you can't deny your bias. I agree, there's no argument here. I know the score.

Good post Maxx could'nt agree more, one thing I also noticed what he does is that he will make a Cotto related thread knowing it will attract other posters who dislike Cotto and when Cotto fans jump in the thread to defend him we get painted as being emotional,excuse makers,nuthuggers,fanboys,etc...

But when I see that threads are heading in a direction that's going to that stupidty level I don't even post in them.

It's good to see you haven't been flying off the handle and calling people "****ing" this and "idiot" that for saying anything even the slightest bit bad about Cotto more lately. You're one of the worst fanboys here, but I'm finding out you're also a pretty cool guy, and insightful and worth reading when you're being objective.

 

Rafael I have nothing against you for the most part and what's funny is that they way you feel about me about being the worse "fanboy" in here, I feel that way about you but your also a good poster when your being objective, so obviously we're not going to agree on everything.

And BTW the only time I ever called any poster a ****ing idiot is when it concerned the Cotto/Mosley fight and when ppl say Mosley should have gotten the draw or nod, but I am learning to accept others opinions whether I feel they are trolling or not.
