Oleksandr Usyk is clearly the best fighter of the 21st century uncontested.

No it doesn't. Amateur has never counted professional resume. The fact you need to go there shows you don't have enough to win this argument. If your argument had merit you'd never type the word Amateur. Foremans advocates never bring up his gold medal, Alis advocates never bring up his gold medal. The fact you need to go there means you've already lost.

Sugar Ray Robinson never lost as an amateur and lost only once in his first 100 plus fights. Sure he fought some taxi drivers here and there, but he was a true goat

Henry Armstrong held 3 undisputed titles simultaneously in the 8 division era. That would be unherd of in today's game

Boxing has existed more than 20 years

Usyk turned pro a couple of months before his 27th birthday for goodness sake not in his teens.

He didn't even take up the sport until he was 15 y/o and in that time he's won Olympic gold, World Amateur gold, European gold, the WSB

And as a pro became undisputed CW champion and undisputed HW champion in 22 fights winning and unifying all his world titles in his opponent's backyards on a deck stacked against him

Whilst never having been knocked down or even really hurt by a headshot despite running through a murderer's row of savage punchers and legit bangers, giants, savage punching giants and he was already past his prime before he won his first world title at HW and was 37 y/o when he became undisputed and he did so as the B-side with the deck stacked against him whilst giving away huge/obscene physical advantages whilst, again, already well past his prime

And all via the application of pure skill, zero fouling, zero deck-stacking, zero trying to weaken or cripple opponents at the negotiating table, zero ducking.

Usyk is a unicorn and so many of the so called greats would never have dared taken the path he took

Fighting once a year essentially amounts to ducking. It prevents you from fighting guys you would have had to face if you were less inactive.

The end result is similar to if you actively duck people

Injury, Covid, one of your opponents screwing you around royally wasting your time, your country having been invaded and being at war, and needing very long gruelling camps just to enable you to compete against much bigger men in a division you don't belong in kind of has a lot to do with that and Usyk is already one of the oldest HW champions of all time

    Usyk has never ducked anyone

    Hasn't ducked anyone?
Well we will see who he fights next, if he beats Dubois

Writing things like that sort of makes you look like a biased small minded person. Roy is not to blame for your failures.

Realistically though its harder to avoid defeat the more top guys you face
If Wardley, Hrgovic, Jalolov, Itauma, Opetaia, Kabayel, etc all had the opportunity to fight Usyk realistically Usyk is likely to pick up some losses. Its going to be much harder to stay undefeated if you face everybody.

My personal favourites are Loma & Sergio Martinez but resume wise they're not the best.

No, he is to blame for his proven PEDs cheating, and writing stuff like this make you look like you are ignorant of reality, or in denial.

That would be a much more compelling argument if his contemporaries were not also on PEDs

You have absolutely no evidence of that, except for James Toney. That is a canard.
