I'm not disputing those facts, I was talking about Tyson's physical stamina for the Holyfield rematch.
    Best regards.

He punched a hole in a wall before destroying Spinks.

How do you think it woudl have gone?

He didn't bite Holyfield because he thought he was going to win.

I must admit I am a big Holyfield fan, he is one of the very few Fighters that I've rooted for. Having said that, there's a chance that they might have stopped the fight on the cut Tyson sustained, if he could have kept his head together for a few more rounds and not gotten knocked out in the process. That would have generated more money for the third fight I think, as it would be unfinished business at that point.

It's easy to say things like this in retrospect, but if I had been training Tyson I would have had him acknowledge that his usual Style just wasn't going to cut it for this fight, that Evander thrived on Fighters coming to him where he could find safety in the pockets with his sneaky defense and find the timing for his crisp, hurtful combinations. I think Mike would have had more success with restraining his constant rushes and picking his spots better, utilizing his jab more and also taking some power off his shot to sacrifice a bit to get the quicker shot in.

See my video above, my friend. He admits he was getting his ass kicked.

Tyson claims that everyone would beat him and chooses to take the humble route whenever possible since retiring.

    Thanks.

Yeah, in the main he has often said that it was the head butts that basically triggered him into biting.

I’ve just got this nagging memory he said it was a way out, or words to that effect - he’s done so many IVs, podcasts etc - it might’ve been a one off revelation or I’m simply mis-recalling.

I remember seeing something where Tyson was asked about the headbutts and said it didn't matter because Holyfield was whooping him anyway

But he didn't say he was looking for the way out, right?

I think actually Tyson tried to pick his spots during the first two rounds (or at least the first) but he was thwarted by Holyfield's roughhouse tactics.
