Now matter how long I chew this one over in my head, I find myself agreeing with your deep analysis and conclusion Chuck. So, it’s a yes from me also.

In the realm of fantasy, Ali over Louis. I see 50/50 fight as opposed to the general advantage that most seem to afford to Ali.

The number of time machine fights where people think Marciano is going to beat some superheavy. It’s absurd. Put him in his proper modern weight class — he’s a light heavy (both Bivol and Beterbiev enter the ring weighing MORE than Marciano did). Proper modern questions for him are Bivol, Beterbiev, Benavidez, etc.

Ali/Frazier over anyone beyond their era.
Just imagine how easily Wlad would smash these characters. Many others would too.

That works both ways. Take any super heavyweight and change their year of birth to 1920 and don't be surprised if they fail to dominate the era.

Training for 15 rounds fighting 50 fights in 8 years. Im not so sure how many of them would still be willing to come in so heavy.

Propelling Rocky forward in a time machine doesn't really make sense. Was Rocky born in 1990 we don't know if he would have trained to weigh 190, given the landscape. His dream was to be HW champion so I'm sure he'd have worked towards that.

    Time machine doesn't work.

He was 5’10 with a 68in reach. A 68in reach is just not workable in a division where the average man would have a 10+in reach advantage on him.

in fact, given his reach and height, he’d probably train down to make 168 (again, we are talking modern day before weigh in).

Maskaev being superior to Rahman....................I will never understand this one. I know Rahman was melted twice but still. I personally believe if they fought 10 times, Rahman would win 8. It's just coincidence that the two times we saw in this reality were Maskaev's Avengers Endgame moment.:confused::confused::confused::facepalm::lol::lol:

And this is why time machines don't work. In his era he was the champion over an unlimited division.
