Some speculation of who Martin will fight next after his trainer Billy Nelson stated turki has another fight in mind for him and it isn't the Ajagba rematch. Frank Warren has stated he is willing to make the match 100% but no official confirmation/announcement of this fight taking place yet.

Itauma has business to take care of come may 24th but how would we think this fight would go? Is this a step back for Martin and/or a step up too soon for Moses?

Bakole has looked terrible in his last two fights. But, he is probably still too much, too early for Itauma.

Hate this for Itauma. Too much risk, not enough reward.

No matter how bad Bakole has looked in his last two fights, it's too early for Itauma to have Bakole as his opponent, Itauma should target fighters like Anderson, Adeleye or Fisher...

Anderson to me is probably the best match up for him right now in my eyes. Bakole a step too far up right now like he was for Anderson.

Far too early, Bakole is legit top 10, and he would come into the fight knowing that a loss would end his career as a serious contender. Would probably play out like Haye vs Thompson at this point.

Bakole is a little too early for Itauma but I wouldn't rule out Itauma beating him. I mean Bakole isn't great but he is a big step up though and he is a lot more proven than Itauma.

I think the Bakole that beat Anderson/Takam would bully Itauma but Bakole has looked so poor recently.

I'm not confident but I think Bakole would stop Itauma in the mid rounds - too soon for him.

There isn't a chance in hell Warren risks Itauma fighting Bakole. Not even worth considering.

    This.

Itauma has talent, but his best wins are basically journeymen or completely shot gatekeepers (Wach) - stepping up to a current and solid gatekeeper who would give his chin a much stiffer test is a risk, to put it mildly.

Realistically, it ain't happening - Itauma will fight bums for a while longer yet.

Bakole was 299 against Takam, that version just drew with Ajagba. If Itauma is a top 10 fighter he stops Bakole, otherwise he's a hypejob

    Or he's just a prospect who's learning...

Dubois was older when he lost to Joyce than Itauma is now and that wasn't the end of him.

If Itauma loses to Bakole right now it means anyone calling Itauma top ten is overhyping him, but it doesn't automatically mean he'll never be top ten... He might, but then again not necessarily.

Terrible idea. Too much too soon. Bakole hasn’t looked great of late, but he’d still be a huge lift for someone so early into their career. And you don’t let a guy get his first real chin check against a legit big hitter, which Bakole absolutely is.

here’s an idea. Let the young buck fight the grizzled old warrior right at the end. Chisora. That would be a test.

I think Itauma would KO him. And I’m not necessarily believing all the Itauma buzz - just that Bakole, although dangerous, is just way overhyped.

Hunter, who I always have rated, was difficult for Bakole, and Itauma with his head movement, power, and angles will get to Bakole easier than Bakole will get to him.
