You are comparing a legend with a LEGIT argument for the top 3 greatest EVER (I have him #2 of all time) against a... yeah...

Man, the threads on the forum has gotten pretty bad the past year

I am in COMPLETE agreement, just proving a point to another poster on another thread who is trying to make the argument that Crawford is greater/better than Duran, and yet is calling ME out for saying it's just my opinion etc :risas3:

Duran's win over Leonard alone is better than Crawford's entire career

Greatest single win in Boxing history imo. You need other freaks like Greb or Robinson to even come close to it.

That win is likely better than most boxers careers

Certainly no fighter in recent history has a win like it

Lamottas win over SRR is better IMO..

Other candidates are Grebs win over Tunney.. considering he was the only man to best him in 85 fights.. & Tunney had 13lbs, 4 inches in height on him & wasn't partially sighted.

Fitzsimmons win over Corbett.. MWs don’t often jump up to HW & win the world title.. but Fitzsimmons did.. stopping the skilled Corbett with a paralyzing left hook to the body on his way to becoming boxing’s first triple crown king.. Corbett outweighed him by nearly 20lbs & was the younger man too. All in all that was an amazing feat.

Well... Given Crawford's best career win is Viktor Postol I'm gonna ever so slightly edge it to the guy who beat Ray Leonard...... But it's close. :ohno

Are you going to tag him?

So that he can see all of us Terence HATERS?

I personally think Greb over Walker and Robinson over Gavilan are in contention, too. Armstrong beating Ross is also a fantastic historical win.

And on topic of Duran, not only does he have elite p4p wins like Leonard, Barkley etc. he also has great 'second tier' (DeJesus, Palomino, Moore etc) and 'third tier' (young Marcel, Kobayashi, Ishimatsu, Minchillo etc) wins. Honestly the more you look the more amazing his resume becomes. Crawford simply is not comparable imo.

Amen, the depth to Duran's resume is incredible, especially taking into account that some of those loses were collossal achievments in their own right, I mean taking Hagler 15 and pushing him all the way? If it had been 12 rounds, Duran would have won on the scorecards! That is greatness right there, even in defeat!
