    I like him.

He is overly excitable, loud, and can talk some utter shite and be biased, but he is a genuine boxing man, loves the sport, has a wealth of knowledge, and is a pretty decent writer when he goes down that avenue.

In a world of barely literate, mumbling, yes men, internet "journalists", Buncey is a rare talent.

Yay. He's part of the dying breed of real journos. In 20 years time Parsons will be considered a veteran , let that sink in

Yes I agree with everything that’s been said. He’s a much better writer than a broadcaster . His books and his BN column are very good. As an interviewer he is a complete arse licker even though I’m sure he would say he isn’t. Still miles better than Kugan Parsons etc

    Yeah, he's alright. He's Buncey.

Thought he was brown bread when I first saw the thread title!

Very much a boxing journalist that was old school tries to fet that across ,simply has and does go out to the small halls and see a fighter develop.

Loves the sport and a very good print writer.

Parsons will have been setting up Babestation type channels once he gets bored of boxing

    Let's hope he hurry up

In small doses yes. He hypes a fight well and his enthusiasm is real. But when he gets carried away and starts rambling in a studio for hours on end he grates on me.

All his books are excellent. He's a very good writer.
I liked him as a pundit back on the itv2 boxing first and bbc days.
By boxnation he had turned into a loud hysterical characature. As he approaches his golden years I hope he can be more the quiet bunce
