Beterbiev went life and death with anthony yarde and was knocked down twice by cans. Now he beats Shavers? These threads are embarrassing.

Go look at the size of Shavers in the ring and Beterbiev who looks scrawny in comparison. He could not even beat anthony yarde convincingly.

Muhammad Ali was just about stopped by Henry Cooper and mostly saved by Dundee ripping his glove to buy him recovery time. **** happens in a ring, no matter how tough the man is.

Ali proved himself vs other greats and took tremendous punches vs some of the biggest hitters in Heavyweight history.

Beterbiev has not proven himself in that regard and I thought Beterbiev looked quite ordinary vs Bivol and his offence for the most part was completely neutralized.

Bivol certainly separated himself against Beterbiev in their 2nd fight winning handily IMO.

The fact that 40yr old Beterbiev has stayed put at 175 his whole 22 fight career shows how he feels his chances are against bigger men...

They are still cruiserweights, many of whom have plenty of power. I would like to see Beterbiev test himself vs cruiserweights before picking him over a lot of these guys.

Beterbiev eats all of them for breakfast.

There`s no way he could take Shavers power and Shavers would have a big reach advantage so would probably catch him first, Beterbiev has never felt that kind of power.

Maybe Shavers can't take Beterbiev's power either.

He was shaken to his boots by Callum Johnson's left hook; lord knows how he would cope with some of the greatest HW hookers. Not that there is any shame in that, but the old maxim weight classes exist for a reason rings especially true here.

Whenever I picture these matchups, I always picture each fighter at their best. Shavers could be extremely inconsistent, this is true. But on his best day, he knocks out Beterbiev in two rounds maximum.
