Allen saw it in Fisher too. That’s why he never stuck to his diet and came in heavy—he knew how bad Bosh was (and still is), especially after the first fight. All that was needed was a better engine.

And now Hearn, true to form, is back in Camp Allen. It’s like watching a master craftsman at work—only this one’s a duplicitous, hypocritical showman.

Liddard boxed better than expected last night, but is he really ready for someone like Conway? The guy looks massive—how did he ever make 154?

Eddie’s so desperate to find the next AJ that he’s turning them all into sacrificial lambs. The hype machine rolls on, but the results are starting to look grim.

 

Eddie is a great sales man who lucked out on timing with AJ & Sky.

He said in an interview this week he's only seen Ekow Essuman fight once. A bloke who been in 6 British title fights, and countless other domestic scraps. How can you be making decisions if you've not paid attention to fighters around that level?

He isn't a boxing man, he just works in boxing. This is why he ****s up stepping fighters up so often.

 

Allen hype to get wildly out of hand again as people forget what Price did to him.

 

Quite depressing that this means Dave is one of the biggest stars on the Matchroom roster now.

I don't think Liddard can win that fight and then another prospect will be ruined before his career really gets going.

I wish Matchroom could go out to the graveyard and dig up Mickey Duff. He was a master at bringing boxers forward in the right way. (Duff had patience in his matchmaking).

The biggest problem right now with Matchroom is that the boxers are not properly prepared for the big tasks. Sparring is fine but it is in a fight that a boxer learns and Matchroom's matchmaking is wrong.

As I have written before in this forum : Eddie Hearn is first and foremost a businessman. He really has no understanding of boxing.

I think Allen vs chisora is a great fight. Similar style, both warriors both love that chest on chest slugfest. Daves discipline with his fitness and stamina is his downfall but del is old so that equals it up.

Given that chisora only has 1 fight left it won't happen but it would be a great fight between probably the 2 most likeable and popular British heavyweights out there.

 

The big problem he has is that for 3 years now, he has no idea he is selling to a few hundred people when speaking on DAZN UK.

 

Chisora is bad matchuo for Allen even now. Chisora would do some serious long term damage to him.
