Wilder might not be able to pull the trigger anymore and the right hand is literally all he had. He deserves the benefit of the doubt, but it would not shock me at all if he lost it.

Allen may win some rounds but if Parker couldn't stop Wilder I doubt Allen could. Wilder would catch him with the right eventually even if he lost the first 5 rounds.

Power is the last thing to go, gotta go with Wilder.

Surprised someone would make a new account just to make this thread. A true boxing fan.

Wilder can't pull the trigger and he doesn't have the power anymore. His power relies on youth, and he's old. Allen probably bangs him out.

Would make for an interesting fight. Allen's best bet would be to get his head on Wilder's shoulder and bang away. As Fury proved, if you can stay close and not allow Wilder swinging space, it neutralizes his right hand bomb.

Still favour Wilder but Allen would give him trouble.

Wilder takes Allen out like he took out Dominic Breazeale, knocking out Fisher doesn't move Allen into the top 50, I like Dave but he's still clearly British domestic level.

Allen could take prime Wilder's right hand without flinching but I think Wilder would use his size advantage to win a wide UD. It's competitive now.

It might look more competitive than it should at times but Wilder would guaranteed catch him and KO him sooner or later.

Probably still Wilder... He's declined but most importantly lost confidence, and anyone good with confidence and tie him in knots fairly easily now they all know a gameplan he can't handle (and of course, he can't learn)...

But even overrated as he is, Wilders done far more.

But part of that requires both a fear on his part and suitable confidence on the part of whoever he's fighting... When that's Fury (even unfit as in #3) or Parker, they're way more proven and have little to fear; when it's Zhang that power would only add to Wilders apprehension and struggle to unleash... But someone like Dave Allen is the kind of guy he built his career on - he's not going to fear him, and he's going to trust that at some point he's going to get a big enough opening to swing without fearing punishment if he loses.

Wilder looks to have lost his snap, which is where the KO's came from but I still think he'd probably generate enough to stop Dave.
Let's be honest, Wilder was never great, but had great power and has wins over decent fighters, Ortiz, Stiverne, and Arreola. All levels above Allen.

Allen will do well to win the British title if he can get that fight.

I think Wilder's a totally spent force now.

If he actually does carry on fighting, I think he's only 2 or 3 fights away from being considered a standing joke.
