Fishers not as bad as he’s being made out to be on here. He’s pretty much as good as he’s always said he is! He’s never said he’s a world beater that was all spin from fast Eddie. Allen also isn’t as good as he’s currently being rated on here. The general forum has a thread where some thinks he now beats AJ!

He’s a big lump who has decent hands and has shown he’s game for a tear up, working with Sims he’s only going to get better.

That being said I was made up that Allen won and in such emphatic style. Brutal combination to get the stoppage I think it’s the first one he’s ever thrown!

Hearn will feed Allen to the wolves and like many has said couldn’t care less about Fisher he’s pumped him and dumped him in true scumbag style.

Hearn will probably focus his efforts on Allen now as his 'salt of the earth' ticket seller to get all casuals to his events. Fisher should just stick to fighting lower level fighters for a while, not tin cans, but well matched opponents. He's still young and if he's serious about boxing, he should live in the gym and look to improve massively before even thinking about British level opponents.

I really like Mark Tibbs, and hate fighters jumping from trainer to trainer but can’t help but feel the tactics were wrong on Saturday. Fisher might benefit from someone else coming and giving another dimension to what he does best and what brought him success so far.

What usually happens after a humbling first defeat will happen.

He may find a new trainer and be billed as this new reborn fighter who has fixed his flaws.

He will definitely be fed a sea of puddings who he will KO in minutes or even seconds and he’ll probably be out every other month to pad his record up.

He will then eventually be stepped up at which point he will be brutally KO’d again.

I don’t’ blame him for continuing. There are still hundreds of thousands in earnings from boxing to be made and hundreds of thousands of new social media followers to acquire.

He just needs to be kept away from any big punchers and anyone who can actually box until one final cash out fight when he steps up and gets stopped again.

He should be looking to finish his career well before 30 IMO.

No homo but he’s not good looking enough for that and he doesn’t suit that type of venture at all IMO. I actually think it’s more likely his father would get into a show like that in a comedy cameo.

I don’t know what Johnny’s family do for business but they should focus on working a simpler route in boxing to getting a few thousand extra in prize money with a view to taking their family business further or investing in new ventures which I’m sure they will since they appear quite savvy on social media and marketing.

    This.

Fisher really needs to fight more, even if it is against overmatched opponents. The lad has many flaws, which is understandable considering he had barely any amateur experience, but he has only been averaging 3 fights a year. That's the type of fights per year average you'd expect from a great amateur like Usyk or Lomachenko turning over as they jump in at the deep end of the pros. For inexperienced fighters like Fisher, you need to be fighting a bare minimum of 6 times per year to gain experience and practice what you have been learning in the gym.

This is a worrying trend I see in recent years. We all know that the top guys fight once or twice a year these days. However, guys starting their pro careers are fighting between 2-4 times a year in their first few years. This just isn't enough to get them up to speed with the pro game and get them the necessary experience they need to progress.

Spend more time concentrating on boxing and less time trying to be funny on social media. Ditch all the Chinese food crap, tell his dad to chill out and get in the gym.

To be honest I see no future in boxing for Fisher other than low level journeyman. He seems a nice kid but he has so many flaws. And he generally lacks the toughness required. In both fights he folded quickly when Allen put it on him. Allen can punch but is by no means a big puncher.

The British HW scene is stacked so best I see for Fisher is an area/English title.

Not sure about that, I think he is tough and by no means has a glass chin. His poor fundamentals are what have led to the hard KDs and KO against Allen.

I remember Allen KTFO Nick Webb quite brutally. Allen ain’t a big puncher but he’s really wild with the overhand right and gets lots of leverage on it. Will hurt any HW if it lands but he never lands it on good boxers.

Yeah well Nick Webb level is kind of what I'm saying. Low level journeyman.

He's useless, not that he can't improve to say British level but he's never going to do anything at world level. Can still earn a few quid from boxing though surely better to do that than get a normal job.

Now, I'm not comparing these fighters for obvious reasons but yes, Fisher should look at Big George's comeback and learn on the road, fight regularly and fight lots of different styles even if it it in fights he is always gonna win. Gym work and sparring are essential but you learn how to fight...in fights. Build that record back up, know his level, if he is in love with the sport he can still be British champion at some point and at least be an entertaining undercard fighter making a decent living...

Agree, but I can’t see him doing this. Matchroom will want to protect his fan base and ticket sales (the only reason they have an interest in him, as he can’t box) and that means him boxing circa 4 times a year.

Even if he fought five times a year which is kinda busy these days, there must be 10 heavyweights he can beat...Matchroom know the crowd turn up for his schtick and an all action ko, sure, he becomes the 'casuals' poster boy but maybe he gets a bit better over the next two years while he's doing this.
