“Time” has clearly sped up significantly since then.

In the fifteen round era then Joey twelve would be known as Joey sixer and be a 0-100 journeyman with a six round gastank who is a sitting duck for the KO from seven to fifteen.

The reason people are stating that Ali could dominate today like Usyk has is because Ali has all the physical attributes that Usyk does.

Ali moves faster than Usyk. Sorry but even if you take Usyk at his quickest, he does not move as fast as 1967 version of Ali.

Ali has faster hand speed than Usyk.

And Ali hits harder than Usyk. Yes, harder. Ali stopped guys like Foreman, Bonavena and Liston who had not been stopped before. Usyk has not stopped anyone notable even at cruiserweight.

Look at the difficulty the bigger heavyweights have with Usyk's speed and endurance. Now take a guy who is quicker, hits harder, throws better combinations and can maintain a great work rate and see how much they will struggle.

Do I think you're right about Ali? Not really. I saw Ali fights in the 70s and he was less than half as "active" or relentless as Usyk. Totally different style.

But let's take Ali out of this. Let's give you the benefit and simply talk about all the other smaller HW "legends"

Can't you see that today's Mobile Athletic giants simply dominate them from pillar to post?

NONE of those fighters that I listed would be CW’s today.

    NONE of them.

Then they would be small underweight HWs.

With little chance of success due to their small size.

There is a REASON that we have Weight Classes !!!!!

Like I keep saying, I can only assume that you’re trolling.

I can only assume that you keep baiting us.

I don’t believe that you want a legit debate.

You are full of horrific analogies and contradictions.

How can all of the legends have been CW’s?

What on earth are you talking about?

We can literally look at their various weights throughout their careers.

How can Holmes, Tyson and Foreman have been CW’s?

If they were transported today, how could they be CW’s?

    What is today’s CW limit?

What did they weigh in their own era?

It’s very easy to find their weights.

It’s now getting to the point where we can’t even debate you anymore.

Nobody cares what you think anymore.

You are completely incapable of having an objective debate.

You’ve embarrassed yourself all throughout the thread.

Now this is what we can do to literally PROVE you wrong.

    It’s very simple:

We will list the best fighters from the 60’s-80’s.

We will give their full dimensions.

We will list their height, reach and weight.

What we’ll do then, is we’ll list the full dimensions, for every fighter who has either beaten your modern guys, or who has caused them significant trouble, where they’ve had competitive fights.

We can do that if you wish.

    So they wouldn’t be CW’s?

    Which is it?

    Make your mind up.

They’d have had little chance of success?

    Ha!

    Except for the following facts:

    1. They’re some of the greatest HW’s of all time, who beat guys of various sizes.

    2. ALL of your modern guys, have either lost to, or struggled with, LESSER guys, as well as guys of a SIMILAR size.

What’s written above is factual and verifiable information.

None of the current crop could dominate all of the fighters of the 60-80’s.

They could beat them for sure.

    100%.

But they could not dominate ALL of them.

    And we KNOW that.

    Why?

Again, because they have literally been beaten, and have struggled with, LESSER guys of a SIMILAR size, from WEAKER eras.

That is FACTUAL, and your absolute proof, that it wouldn’t have been possible.

If a guy can barely beat Hughie Fury, and he couldn’t beat AJ or Joe Joyce, then that same man could not have dominated prime versions of Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Larry Holmes etc.

We don’t even need to have seen the fights, to know that you’re wrong.

Because what you have typed is simply illogical.

Now I genuinely hope for your own sake, that you are trolling us for a bit of fun.

That isn't true though and you keep repeating yourself doesn't make it a "fact".

Fighters like Norton, Foreman, walked around at 230 pounds and cut weight because Heavyweights were more focused on cardio then because bouts were 15 rounds.

    Here's some examples.

    Larry Holmes = 6'3 210-220 80 inch reach

    Muhammad Ali = 6'3 210-220 78 inch reach

    George Foreman = 6'3 216-224 78 inch reach

    Ken Norton = 6'3 210-220 80 inch reach

    Joe Bugner = 6'4 220 82 inch reach

    Tim Witherspoon = 6'3 217-227 78 inch reach

    Tony Tucker = 6'5 220-235 82 inch reach

    Buster Douglas = 6'3 230 83 inch reach

    Pinklon Thomas = 6'3 220 77 inch reach

    Bonecrusher Smith = 6'4 230-240 82 inch reach

    Gerry Cooney = 6'6 225-230 81 inch reach

    Greg Page = 6'2 228-238 81 inch reach

    Razor Ruddock = 6'3 230 82 inch reach

Again not sure what you're on about alot of the notable Heavyweights from the 70-80s were pretty much identical in size to Usyk with some being natural bigger and harder punchers than Usyk.

Fury has struggled immensely vs McDermott, Cunningham, Usyk, who were all 6'3 and Cunningham, Usyk, were Cruiserweights at one point with Cunningham being even lighter than Usyk at 210 which is smaller than alot of the notable Heavyweights of the past.

Apparently Rocky Marciano walked around over 200 pounds himself but came in 185ish in the ring but I don't know if that's true on not maybe some one can clarify.

He walked around at over 200 pounds but again Heavyweights had to be incredibly fit then because fights were 15 rounds. If you look at pictures of Marciano there's barely an ounce of fat on him with modern training and with fights no longer being 15 rounds he would probably be about 10-15 pounds bigger on average.

Alot of the Heavyweights now maybe be bigger in regards to weight but they aren't all in 100 percent peak condition and are carrying alot of excess fat.

Fury for example has love handles and trunks up to his arm pits he's probably carrying atleast 30-40 pounds of excess fat.

I can imagine some of them definitely came in smaller for speed and stamina but were naturally bigger.

I agree not all these bigger heavyweights are very fit like say the Kiltschko brothers were.

People act like Usyk is "like Ali" and that Ali would do to the giants what Usyk can do.

    They are nothing alike.

Usyk can only hang with these giants because he is constantly active, throwing, moving, dodging, pressuring, hitting from angles. He is a nightmare because he is constantly at you - in your face. He tires opponents out - mentally and physically.

Meanwhile, Ali floats around the ring at long range, closing with the occasional flurry and then back out again. Utterly different style.

Can Ali hang with today's big boys? I kinda doubt it because he is so small. No doubt Ali would dominate the CW div today (-for which his size is perfect).

But the SHWs? Not so much.

Why do you keep repeating the samething when your post constantly gets disproven about the size ? It's like you deliberately ignore everything and just keep making the wrong assumption.

How many times do I have to say Usyk is 6'3 220 with a 78 inch reach ? Look at the fighters I've listed above Usyk is not bigger than them and he's still the best Heavyweight in the world due to his skill set proving smaller great Heavyweights can still beat bigger Heavyweights.

I don't know why this is so hard for you to comprehend the Heavyweights today are not standout fighters and many of them would be beaten by former great Heavyweights of the past like Holmes, Ali, Holyfield, Tyson.
