There's no doubt in my mind that Loma won that fight against Haney, and I have no bias, no dog in this fight. I am from the USA, and believe that Kov got robbed against Ward in their first fight.

Lomachenko has been wonderful to watch, I am going to miss him when he is gone. His skills, along with his fight anyone anywhere any size Style are legendary historically imo, and if he retired today he would be considered an all-time great.

    Bump

This was 2 years ago now. It changed the landscape for boxing for the worse. If Loma had got the rightful decision no doubt he would've gone on to defend against the likes of Shakur or Tank but instead we get the **** show of Haney and Garcia along with that abomination of a card in Time Square NY. Robberies set off a chain reaction that is very bad for boxing. How dare they rob a great man like Lomachenko. For Shame.

Runners like Haney don’t sell either.

It did make Ryan splattering Devin "Young Master" Haney that much funnier.

Well he won’t sell now he’s been exposed. Everyone saw Loma beat him and then if not for a dirty urine everyone saw Garcia bounce him around. So his undefeated record doesn’t ring true and his retreat against Loma showed his awful style. Haney is radioactive.

Shakur & Tank wouldn't fight Lomachenko belt or no belt IMO. Tank's team never wanted that fight, and it's easy to see why now, after that performance against C-rate Roach. Shakur is busy beating up electricians and spending more time on Twitter than in the gym. But yeah, Lomachenko 100% deserved that W vs Haney.

And yet, the promoters keep pushing them. I have no idea why. Surely, they're losing tons of money of the Haneys and Stevensons of boxing, yet they keep putting these bozos front and center. I don't know what they're trying to do.

Haney isn’t signed to a promoter and Stevenson’s deal with Matchroom is in conjunction with His Excellency so Stevenson is being paid by the Saudis.

Then hopefully we see the last of Haney. Good riddance. Sadly, the Saudis don't care about losing money, it seems, so we'll probably keep seeing Snorekur Sleeperson.

How can a fight end with three low blows?

Kovalev Ward 1 was atrocious and a DEI decision.

GGG Alvarez 1 was bad too but the one judge scorecard made it worse than what tbe actually outcome was.

Ya it was bad .. but Loma shudda looked after his own career better like Usyk & K2 did .. because he put his fate in the hands of snakes dealing with Arum etc.. I think Chenko is one of the greatest natural talents I have ever seen.. but his career could have been better managed imo. I don't think we will see him fight again now either unfortunately.

I imagine your scorecard gave every close round to Loma. If we're being honest, there were some very close rounds that could have gone either way. I had it a draw. I believe I gave Haney round 2, which was a close round, but if I gave it to Loma, he would have won on my card.

Here's how I scored the fight don't really see how you can score it any other way tbh Loma was clearly landing the better harder shots in the rounds he won while Haney was mostly throwing pitter-patter shots with barely any weight to them:

    Devin Haney VS Vasiliy Lomachenko

    Round 1 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 2 10-9 Haney

    Round 3 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 4 10-9 Haney

    Round 5 10-9 Haney

    Round 6 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 7 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 8 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 9 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 10 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 11 10-9 Lomachenko

    Round 12 10-9 Haney

    116-112 Lomachenko

It’s a shame he has a loss on his record. So many fighters have had their legacies dented due to poor decisions. But Lima will make the HOF and Haney won’t.
