Why Madrimov ? he has an amateur style and got comprehensively beaten by Ortiz recently.

    Spence definitely not.

    Porter ? no.

Trout was in his absolute prime vs Cotto neither Porter, Spence, were in their primes. And Madrimov as i said has an amateur style the fact Crawford did considerably worse vs him than Ortiz did isn't a good look.

Could be but I need to see a bit more of Ortiz vs some of the notable 154 pounders.

He did almost lose to Bohachuk.

It depends who you are facing
He was facing prime Tyszu, prime Cotto but gave a good account of himself.
A world title doesn't always account for the competition
You could argue the same with Wilder with regard to stepping up but anyone beating him is considered a good win
The fact is you were not aware of him shows you were not watching at that time and had to look him up with no first hand account.
Take Chisora as perhaps a better example in that he has lost several fights when stepping up but was a European champion and gives a good account of himself.
The world is different now and more fans get to watch even domestic boxing around the world but I would guess if Chisoras career had finished 20 years ago, someone who wouldn't have seen much of him wouldn't rate a win over him as highly because there would be less footage and just someone googling a record
In the case of Urkal he was higher rated than Chisora as an equivalent and (Urkal) world rated for years and did arguably more overall than say Mickey Ward, but wasn't as known due to demographic, yet I think you could site M Ward as a good win for the young Zab Judah

Spence and Porter are massively overrated. It's sorta hard to predict them winning against anyone. Agree with the rest of what you said though.

Ya its hard to say with so little that has been seen from Vergil but I think he is better than Trout

Just much more power and offensive ability

Trout is an underrated fighter though.

Harris stopped Steve Johnston who was a very notable Lightweight champion and also Hurtado in 2 rounds who knocked down Whitaker, Tszyu, twice.

Not to mention Harris beat Lazcano also.

    They're good wins.

    See below
You are just now searching names without any insight or having ever watched said fighters.
You are trying to give an opinion on something that you have literally no idea about, yet still think you are making some sort of point.
V Harris became a world champion at LWW, the reason the rematch is because of how competitive and controversial the fight was.

I think you are debating alot of this with yourself and not me, as I have proven Urkal was continually in The Rings yearly ratings for 7 straight years between 2 divisions
You can't debate that and have no argument for that and are digging yourself into a hole with a lack of knowledge of the fighter

I realised earlier on that he wasn't familiar with the fighter

It is always interesting when posters who weren't watching some years back feel they have something to say about something they have little insight of
