Thomas Hearns also has a win over denis andries, so yeah i would pick hagler to beat those two. Saad, Eddie and Qawi would all beat marvin though.
Hamsho handled Czyz pretty easily, so it's safe to assume Hagler would have turned the trick. (Also, don't forget that Hagler was a far superior southpaw to Hamsho.) As Hagler demonstrated against Hamsho, Minter, and Seales, fellow southpaws didn't trouble him much, and Marvin Johnson wouldn't have been an exception. Hagler's southpaw jab would cause Johnson considerable difficulty, and he'd wear out late. Hagler could stop him in this one. Marv would also take Dennis Andries. Saad Muhammad would be an interesting matchup. Matt's approach to dealing with southpaws was to hammer left hooks exclusively to the body. He was so committed to that philosophy, it sometimes seemed to be the only offensive tactic he used in that situation (and with great success). Hagler had an impervious chin, but Matt wouldn't even notice that Marv had a head, so intently would he be focused on the nearer right side of Hagler's body. Matt wasn't the greatest defensive specialist, but I think his body attack would deter Marv from deploying his right jab. Before too long, Matt would force Marv to switch his stance, just to gain relief from Saad's hook underneath, and to avoid getting taken out. Once Matt gets Hagler out of lefty mode, it becomes a fairly pedestrian decision for the bigger man. Switching stances wouldn't spare Marv from Eddie's body attack. Hagler would need to make liberal use of lateral movement to evade Eddie's leveraged power. Marv would need to impose his will on Eddie by circling right continually. If Hagler could continually insert his right jab from outside Eddie's left, he may outmanuever the lazy one into a decision win. Marv would need to work much harder than Eddie to pull off a scorecard victory, but with his ethic, it could be possible. Qawi wouldn't be a very pleasant experience for Hagler. Although naturally heavier, Ike would also be boxing shorter than Marv. Hagler's jab would go sailing over Qawi's head. The Marvelous One would need to remain in southpaw mode for the duration of the bout. If he switches orthodox for an instant, one counterjab from Qawi would remind him of that mistake in tactic. Hagler's right is his business hand, but from the southpaw stance, he'd need to utilize his lead left cross liberally, saving his right hook for Qawi's body. Everything Qawi does flows off his counterjab. Take away his opportunities to trigger it, then the whole complexion of the chessmatch changes. Marv should only deploy his right jab as he passes inside Qawi's left, while in lateral transit. I don't necessarily think Mike Spinks would try to bomb Hagler out. Mike also had superb boxing skills and mobility, and may have used those to administer punishment while taking little in return. Mike was much more of an opportunist than somebody who tried to force things to happen. By his own admission, he was primarily a counterpuncher, and could well have been content to exploit whatever openings emerged when Hagler struck out first. Mike's body may have been a tempting target for Marv, but that would mean exposing his head to Spinks's counters. This would probably be a replay of Willie Monroe's dominating ten round win over Hagler.
Hagler would hold his own, but ultimately he was too small especially against Spinks. Saad was pretty worn out by 82-83 so Hagler may have been able to put point him.
Jesus Christ… okay poor, poor Marv (in a few of these match ups) Qawi would absolutely maul him it would be brutal to watch and Marvin’s punches wouldn’t make him blink, it’d be like a Pitbull throwing around a stuffed toy. Spinks stops him or easily UD’s… and Mustafa? Mustafa probably shows up, not tries like most of the time and scores a boring UD but if he wants to hurt Hagler he does and stops him like the other two. Hagler is very little of a threat for three guys who didn’t look overly outmatched at HW Mustafa had the worst track record there 0-1 but Snipes was a 210-220lbs HW puncher and he was running from Eddie… These are not men for Marvellous Hagler to fight.
