Joe Louis from the world championship fight against Charles vs. Ezzard Charles from the first Marciano fight.
    Who wins (15 rounds)?

    Or a similar question.
Who had the better title opponent:
Ezzard Charles with Louis 1950 or Marciano with Charles 1954?

It’s common knowledge that most boxing historians feel that Charles actually beat Louis. The Charles Marciano fought would have beaten Louis. Joe was in decline by the time he first fought Charles.

    Louis.

Comeback Louis was still really good he'd just lost his power and couldn't outbox prime Ezzard Charles without it. 1954 Ezzard Charles was declining and declining quickly for a few years at this point. Louis should win same like he did with Bivins.

Louis was far too past it by that stage to win, Charles may have been past his peak but he wasn’t a shot fighter like Joe was.
