Right he beat up Toney. He beat Hopkins. Knocked out Hill. Beat up Hall who gave Darius all he could handle in TWO fights.
Knocked out Tate. Knocked out Thorton easily who went 12 with Eubank and Julian Jackson.

Knocked out Maligna who beat both Benn and Reid.

I would not say beat up Toney. But dominated him. Toney did a pretty good defensive job, despite the poor condition he came in.

Got dropped and won what TWO ROUNDS out of 12?
MAYBE three if your being generous- he got dominated so bad nobody wanted to see a rematch.
Please log off it is apparent you dislike Jones who now all the sudden Toney was"weigh drained" is giving a commanding defense effort - but he can't punch right?

If we were grading RJJ victims on a curve Toney would get a A or A+.

Relax, dude. Yeah I would agree Toney won 2-3 rounds and got dominated. He was weight drained and did a good defensive job. Had no pop in his punches. All of these things are true.

Don't think Toney got beaten up badly over seriously hurt in that fight. Yes I stand by that.

He literally got dropped on his butt and hurt to the point he wouldn't open up but sure he was never getting hurt when Jones was cracking him.
Jones landed 46% of his punches so I have no idea where you get this "brilliant defensive effort" considering how high that percentage is.

This post shows the problem with Jones and some of his fans.
Whether or not Jones would’ve massacred or beaten up his top-rated opponents isn’t the point; these were the best available opponents in his weight classes, the fights the fans wanted, and the great ones make these fights happen and show their greatness in the ring. Imagine Foreman brushing off an old Ali, asking why should he fight Muhammad? He already destroyed the man who beat Ali.
Roy paved the way for “Money” Mayweather and his fans.
“Why I gotta fight Pacquiao? He got losses.”
“Margarito who? I’m gonna fight Robert Guerrero!”
Well before Ruiz and the Tarver debacle, the name “Reluctant” Roy was being used. And the term “Roycott” was a grassroots protest against his PPVs vs firemen and mall cops.
Roy has nobody but himself to blame for going from Sugar Ray Robinson’s heir to an Internet meme.

Who did you want Roy to fight? Steve Collins has no chance vs a Jones and everyone knew it.
Daruis was never going to leave Germany and Jones was not going to fight join Germany.
Benn and Eubank were making money without having to risk a fight with Jones so who exactly was Jones suppose to face?
He beat Hopkins. Beat Toney. Beat up Reggie Johnson. Crushed a whole bunch of contenders at Super Middleweight. Knocked out Hill.
Exactly who was Roy suppose to fight?

This little story about how Mayweather ducked Antonio is a myth and everyone knows it. Antonio would have never stood a chance vs a Mayweather unless Mayweather broke both his hands.

Jones was a fraud and PED cheat. His entire career was based upon Ray Leonard running around a giant ring and performing a “hit and run” performance as Leonard did against Duran. Tarver exposed Jones. Does anyone think for a second that Roy Jones would ever beat Andre Ward at 168 or 175? It would never happen. Jones against Spinks or Saad is a Joke. Jones would not beat a prime Kovalev either. Jones was always more mouth and athlete than boxer. How is Jones liking Moscow now? I am sure that Putin is proud of his Bolshevik slave.

Ruiz was a joke. Jones moved down and got caught using steroids and he starts fighting real boxers and he start to lose. Why is this so hard to accept for the Jones fans?

The KD, it was a push. Whatever, Jones pretty much dictated everything in that fight. But Toney was weight drained. I guess it would have been less of a domination if Toney was in Barkley type shape.
