I always felt he was one of Boxing’s most underrated fighters. Prayers to his friends and family.

    I´m in shock. Gutted

One of my favourite fighters. Hell of a talent, severely underrated.

My second best light-middle of all time just behind Hearns and only just.

    RIP Champ

RIP. One of the most complete and underrated fighters I've ever seen, with an equally underrated resume. Never heard a bad word about him as a man either.

    The GOAT at 154, imo.

    Rest easy, champ.

    Wow.

These kind of deaths kind of mess you up a bit because he seemed to be around FOREVER as an active fighter, and he wasn't terribly young when he finally made it to the top. You just sort of assume they're going to be around a long time, they're fixtures.

    Condolences to his family.

All-time great fighter. He had it all, skill, condition, finesse, defense, chin, speed, and solid pop, especially at 154. He ducked no one. Stood right in the pocket, hit the body and head, and had a nice jab. Nice man, too.
