There is some speculation that this fight could happen, who will win if it happens, can Hrgovic prepare well enough to beat the Huni, or is Huni too much for Hrgovic at this moment?
I wanna say Huni would be able to outbox him, but I'm skeptical his whiskers would hold up the whole fight. This is the same guy who was pretty well out on his feet against Lerena not too long ago. Prolly one I'd change my mind on a lot in the lead up, but for now I'd back Hrgovic by late KO.
Huni takes the same aggressive approach as Dubois, only he has about 20% of the power, which means he doesn't put a dent in Filip, while Filip's non-stop barrage of one twos put plenty of dents in him, makes him skittish and he eventually stops him late.
As long as Hrgovic doesn't gas out he will win. Stylistically it should be a firefight and he both hits harder and his chin is much better.
I won't open a new thread, I'll use this one again, yesterday I watched Huni vs. Wardley and despite his defeat I was impressed with what he showed, I think Huni would beat Hrgovic on points, Hrgovic has a good chin and it's realistic to say that Huni wouldn't knock him out, but he would win most of the rounds in an interesting competitive fight.
I don't understand how 'Wardley has insane punching power, one of the most devastating punchers in the division' but the general conclusion from last night is 'Huni got knocked out by Wardley so he has a weak chin'. Surely one doesn't lead to the other. Nothing questionable about Huni's mandable so far. His power is also a little underrated, Wardley's chin is good.
