First time I've seen a KD not get called because of holding and hitting.

    Round 4

Bizarre situation, they flurry together and clash heads, and then with their arms locked up and foreheads pressed together Opetaia lands a left uppercut on the chest. Squeo goes down in pain and reacts like he got fouled. It was clearly not a low blow, landing on his sternum. Maybe the argument is that it was a hit on the break? Anyway, the ref gives him a brief amount of recovery time and then it's off to the races again. Opetaia is walking him down, holding out the right arm straight, Heisman trophy (or Wlad Klitschko) style, pushing it out ahead of him to clear a path and then drilling in with the left cross. Squeo covering up, backpedaling, ducking, coming up for air hooking, and holding.

    10-9 Opetaia

    40-36 Opetaia

On what planet was that not just a straightforward knockdown?

    Round 5

Squeo throwing furiously but can't reach. Opetaia simply leaning or half-stepping away to dodge it all, while always menacing on the frontfoot. Straight left breaks Squeo's guard. Opetaia whips Squeo into a corner with a right hook. Squeo takes a knee, and rides the count.

    TKO5!

Gutsy showing from Canelo, CW was simply a step too far.

Every Opetaia fight is just him completely overpowering his opponents, as if only he has any power in the particular matchups, with Briedis being the only exception.

Opetaia should move up in weight if he does not get a unification fight next. Hes pretty much wasted the last 3 years on fights no one asked for.

Opetaia should move up to heavyweight, scrap the Ramirez fight, get in the heavyweight mix whilst you’re still in your prime.

Looks like he might have knocked his beard out of place.

Never been sure of how impressed I should be by Opetaia. I do like him but something about his style leaves me wanting more. There's no glaring flaws that he has, he does everything very well but I can't shake the feeling that there's holes in his style that I'm not noticing. Decent performance albeit not a very inspiring one.

OK now let's get a real CW fight set -- a fall Opetaia-Zurdo belt unification.

He doesn't have a HW frame. Usyk has a much bigger frame, and broader shoulders. He just needs to start fighting top 10 opponents in his own division.

The Aussies have outdone the British for shitty ringside music.

Squeo tried his best but he was just way too small to even stand any kind of chance at all and that's in addition to the skill and talent gap. Jai looked good as usual but it was a mismatch. Zurdo, man up sissy
