An absolute nutcase, in my opinion and a future world champion. The stories going around of him turning up to bare knuckle street fights on his own with hundreds of people watching are quite enlightening as to what sort of character this bloke is.
TBF to him he whilst he is savage in the ring, he seems a good, gentle guy outside of it. A true disciple of the Eubank warriors code.
What does this Eubank warrior code prescribe? Does it say that men should cheat on their wives, father a love child who would then be later abandoned?
Suffers from what I call Anthony Yarde syndrome - fighting with your hands low but not actually slick enough to pull it off and hit a lot as a result.
Unlikely to become heavyweight champ, even with Frank's match making abilities. You can only go for so long with the big bangers when your idea of defence is your face!
I think the WBA reg is his ceiling, would like to see him fight Pulev and if he wins hold the belt hostage.
Wardley comes across as a decent bloke and he is exciting to watch. I would love to see him fight Joshua. Would Hearn want that match though? Another good match for Wardley would be against the current European HW champion (Xhoxhaj)
Said in the RBR yesterday that they should be hoping Dubois beats Usyk. Dubois Wardley is a huge domestic fight and a winnable one for Fabio IMO, maybe with 70:30 in Daniel’s favour. Don’t forget that in the AJ fight right before the KO AJ had Daniel rocked to his boots. It seems Fabio has a better chin than AJ by a mile so he could maybe trade with Daniel hope his power can pull off a win. His best bet at a world title IMO.
Fabio's chin hasn't been tested by a genuine puncher though. Huni can't punch at all and Clarke doesn't pack a lot of power either. A 40 year Molina wobbled him a few years ago, he's a tough man but we have yet to see him in there against a real banger.
