When you are too stupid to understand that Australia and New Zealand are different countries, it’s a fair assumption to make that you don’t have the first clue what is going on.

David Nyika is from New Zealand.

You are nothing more than an armchair quarterback with a chip on your shoulder copying names out of BoxRec.

Start actually following the sport and then come back with at least a base knowledge of what goes on.

Instead of gas lighting and insults how about you respond to my points. Why didn't he fight any of those fighters I listed. Yes I copied a bunch of names from the rings top 10, now answer why Jai didn't fight any of them rather than a italian can ranked 60th.

Opetaia on the punch that ended the fight :

“I heard the punch break his jaw.

    “I was like ‘f*** you poor *******’.

    “I’ve been there.

“When I looked at him, the jaw had a dent there.

“F***, hats off to him man.”

You have no clue and I'm not wasting another second on you.

Start actually following boxing. Instead of pretending to.

I never meant he was literally an Australian. I said he is a domestic oz level fighter. Sorry for you confusing you.

You guys think the best possible opponent Jai could find was an italian ranked 73rd in the world. When you run out of arguments you resort to insults. Sad but predictable.

Idiots are best avoided. Particularly BoxRec warriors who don't even follow the sport.

Ok mate, I guess it's my turn to bite, Cinkara was the IBF mandatory and if you actually followed boxing you'd know that the IBF doesn't mess around with their mandatories like the other bodies, so he has to face them or drop his title.

After he pulled out they went down the list of IBF challengers and Nyika was the first one to out his hand up. They did the same thing and landed with Squeo. Literally down the top 15 with the IBF offering what to most of them is a career high pay day and a chance at the IBF and Ring championships and those guys were the only ones to agree.

And we saw the result, Opetaia isn't just he kind of fighter who beats someone, or just KOs them, he puts a comprehensive, sustained round by round assault breaking down his opponents. The kind of beating that changes the course of a fighters career. Its why these guys don't want to fight him.

A mismatch as expected, with all due respect to Squeo but we knew that Opetaia is on another level. Now it will be interesting to see the Australian against Zurdo Ramirez. I like Opetaia but he only has two wins against the great but old Briedis, now is the time to reunify the world belts.
