No idea why anyone can even describe Whyte or Chisora top level when both were bang average British Level fighters in their prime.

Eddie Hearn says ...... then both get blown up as Box Office stars and the mugs have no clue they have been poked.

Fury played with both in their World Title Challenges making Ronnie Barker look decent.

Whyte fights for loot and hope he gets his teeth knocked right oot.

Think that assessment is probably a little unfair for Whyte, no ones saying compared to the whole history of heavyweights he was a top class, but given what was available at the time he done alright with some notable wins against Parker, Chisora, Povetkin (albeit old and took twice to do it), even Helenius and Rivas arent too bad. If I remember correctly and perhaps I don't but Rivas was seen as a potential boogeyman ahead of that fight?

Just watch the Fury fight again and you will see he was never any more than a plodding slugger on the same level as War Chisora.

Hearn mugged the public on the back of a British Level fight between both.

Cacace v Ford is a cracking fight, but this card as it stands has absolutely no need to take place in Saudi. If they add Smith v Yarde and maybe a good heavyweight fight like Kabayel v Okolie, that I will change my mind based on finance.

Dillian Whyte at this point, has very little to offer Ituama apart from his name/dignity. Yes he can probably still crack with a left hook, but how would he even detonate it..His balance, footwork and co-ordination is shot to pieces. Itauma will be far too quick to get cracked by a left hook especially as a southpaw. I would expect Moses to hammer him within 4 rounds.

Ball v Goodman should be in Liverpool. Putting aside the fact it’s not a great fight.

That was classic bluster to sell a PPV.

If he pulls out of this, I would imagine it will be game over for any more "big fights" for him.

One thing I will say is Hearn & Sky did an amazing job numbers wise with Whyte considering his limitations. A side in PPV’s against Parker, Chisora, Rivas and Povetkin x2. Bet that was over £2m buys. Plus his purses against Joshua and Fury.

    Hearn is a master salesmen.

The casuals thought they were watching Dillian Meal Deal Whyte v Smokin Joe Parker

I like how people conveniently forget the blatant headbutt in round 2 of the Parker fight which was counted as a knockdown too which changed the fight.

I know they are doing it for marketing, but if no one is really watching it or going, then its not effective marketing .

    Plenty of them are watching.
You won't watch the fight? This isn't one of their big fights. This time 5 years we were all sick of fights not happening, now we're getting them but the atmospheres are poor.

I tune in for the fights, I'd rather see great fights with poor atmospheres than crap, nothing fights regardless of atmosphere

Yeah, the fights are getting made — but if only the ultra-rich and elite can watch them live, in atmospheres that feel more like luxury business summits than fight nights, what’s the point?

This isn’t marketing — it’s sportswashing. A vanity project disguised as promotion. Saudi’s not building boxing, they’re using it — parading fighters around like gold-plated trophies while draped in togas playing Caesar.

Meanwhile, back home, so-called 'British-level' scraps like Benn vs Eubank, Bosh vs Allen, and even Wardley vs Huni brought more fire, more noise, and more soul than any of those billion-dollar exhibitions. They weren’t elite fights — but they felt like boxing. Compare that to the Times Square spectacle with three elite names — it played out like a glorified sparring session for the elite. All shine, no substance.

I suppose it all depends on whether you are likely to go to the live event or watch it on tv.
If you arent likely to go to an arena and enjoy the comforts of watching on the box, then whether its in saudi , wembley or york hall should make no difference in your viewing experience really. If you are a fan who goes to live shows and feel like you are being robbed of the opportunity then I fully understand.

Whyte still has War Chisora 3 and Joshua 2 when he loses.
