I am against bashing boxers in general, but last week I had a conversation about most annoying/disliked boxers and actually recognized that there is some passion in that, too. Mostly my annoyance is an expression of my love for the sport and how I feel it should be and I dislike the boxers deviating from that (entitlement, ducking, undeserved hype, fouling etc).

So though I am thankful for anyone willing to step in the ring in order to give us viewers mesmerizing experiences:

What are the current fighters in boxing you dislike the most / that annoy you? (Top 5 or Top 10 if you can)

Ideally put the reason in brackets (fouling, entitlement, own hype, promoter hype, dodgy decisions, bad mouthing, whatever, alos mutliple reasons if there are). Let's see who wins the title of most annoying fighter!

Devin Haney (privileged, pampered and protected by the WBC, racist, and a runner in the ring)

Conor Benn (everything wrong with the modern game - very limited but given all the opportunity and coverage that far more deserving fighters will never get due to the fact they aren't the son of a British legend. The angry little road man act doesn't help either).

that said, he showed up ready to throw down last time. He’s certainly no bore in the ring.

Yeah, he's right up there. Show's how ****ed up the sports power brokers are, screwing Loma over for that little *****. Teo Lopez is also **** head, another Loma got screwed against. Tyson Fury, big fat dosser. I disliked Deontay Wilder but the dude is virtually irrelevant now anyway. Shakur Stevenson is a bit of a wanker.

Shakur Stevenson (Put me to sleep made me miss Bivol v Beterbiev 2, also hits women)
Tyson Fury (the whole charade is boring now)
Keyshawn Davis (you don't pull what you did at the weekend and end up with more fans)
Dennis McCann (still swanning around at boxing events and holding the European title with zero shame over his failed drugs tests)
    Claressa Shields.

To me it is something like

1 Canelo (all of his points have been going on forever - killed super middle, ducks, gets lots of dodgy decisions, opponents are too in awe of him to throw down even though he is a shell of his former self, gets caught with drugs, his hyped fanbase is probably the most extreme and irrational of all. Generally the worst thing about him is that everyone around his weight class stops making meaningful fights in the hope of getting the payday against him - looking at crawford, too)

2 Ben Whitaker (unsportsmanlike humiliating of lower class opposition to build hype and predictably stopping that against middle/higher class opposition, faking to not be able to fight on, later smashing someones phone and punching a hole in the wall, apparently)

3 Fury (current version - great fights and I was also a big fan at times, but ending and continuing his career every month, fighting pianeta, tom schwarz, chisora for the tenth time in berween meaningful fights, narrowly escaping a loss against an mma fighter where he apparently did not even train properly in spite of boxing's reputation riding on that money fight... demanding way too much money, lying, doping, pulling the ukraine story out of his ass when legitimately losing to usyk...)

4 Gervonta Davis (the amount of interesting matchups he did not make is frustrating like hell, celebrates beating lower weight class opponents, promoter narratives around him get him way more hype than deserved by his wins and the grease-take-a-knee-and-override-the-referee did not help at all, and his behavior outside the ring neither)

5 Jake Paul (choice of opponents, annoys on purpose, but at least you know what you get with him, he is a pure entertainment product)

6 Joshua (gave us good fights, but was often overrated by an annoying fanbase, annoying matchmaking at times, throwing tantrums and generally an air of fakeness and superiority)

7 Haney (just so boring to watch, he is pretty good but goes about his fights like an insurance company never taking the slightest risk or showing emotions, just fights below the level he could be at)

8 Wilder (only the current version - no motivation left, all his fights are a waste of time from now on and he is promoted to still be a factor, please no more fights with him)

9 Stevenson (entitled compared to his fighting style, could look way better or at least be a bit more humble please, you're not yet a superstar)

10 Jalolov (Pros should not fight a second time in the olympics, robbing the next generation of their chance to win. And what is this career path he is on... Could be way better)

Surely missing a few but maybe I'll edit them later

Daniel Dubois (mixed with me liking and enjoying him, but was pampered by Warren and him going along with the low-blow charade is annoying as well.)
    Ben Whitaker.
Devin Haney and the Brat Kings like Garcia, Lopez, Stevenson—I like them fighting, and I kinda like Teofimo, but they were way too hyped.
