Who wins in this straight knockout tournament?

We have two undisputed champions, a S6 winner, 4 legends of the halcyon days and 1 man who knocked out Groves with a single punch in front of 80000 at Wembley.

    Benn vs Froch (1)
    Jones Jr vs Calzaghe (2)
    Eubank vs Ward (3)
    Toney vs Canelo (4)

    Winners of (1)v(2)
    Winners of (3)v(4)

    Who's your tourney winner?

I think i have to go Jones Jr.

    I pick:

    Froch to beat Benn
    Jones to beat Calz
    Ward to beat Eubank
    Toney to beat Canelo

    Jones to beat Froch
    Toney to beat Ward

    Jones to beat Toney

Benn/Froch = Froch by TKO late after a barnburner.

    RJJ/Calzaghe = RJJ by UD

    Eubank/Ward = Ward by UD

    Toney/Canelo = Toney by UD

    Semi Finals

    RJJ/Froch = RJJ by UD

Ward/Toney = Ward by majority decision.

    Finals

RJJ/Ward = RJJ by UD similar to the Hopkins fight 8-4.

    Froch
    Jones
    Ward
    Toney

    Jones
    Ward

    Jones.

I think Calzaghe is the second best fighter of the bunch, he just got the unlucky draw of fighting Jones first. Jones wins a competitive but clear fight where he decks Joe at least once, but Calzaghe has his moments, especially in the second half of the fight.

Froch has a tear up with Benn for a few rounds before settling down and boxing more to win a decision.

Ward wins over Eubank by making the fight ugly up close, maybe surviving a shaky moments and a knockdown.

Toney beats Canelo at his own game, mostly by nature of being more of a combination puncher and more active.

    Jones makes Froch look silly.

Ward spoils the fight with Toney by jabbing, feinting, and staying away.

Jones beats Ward in a good fight where Ward is forced to come forward, but Roy is too fast and smart to fall prey to his inside tactics.

    …..it sounds good at least!

I'm assuming prime versions of each at the weight!

    Benn vs Froch (1)
    Very tough to call.
It really depends which Froch turns up.
I may change my mind tomorrow but on this day, I think Benn may outwork him
    Benn points

    Jones Jr vs Calzaghe (2)
    Far easier to predict.
Prime Jones was a good SMW but Calzaghe is the SMW goat.
    Calzaghe later rounds stoppage

    Eubank vs Ward (3)
Eubank could blow hot and cold but for this tournament he has turned up ready to make a statement
    Eubank points

    Toney vs Canelo (4)
    Canelo convincingly
    Canelo wide on points

    Winners of (1)v(2)
    Benn vs Calzaghe
    Calzaghe stoppage

    Winners of (3)v(4)
    Eubank vs Canelo
    Clear Eubank victory on points

    Who's your tourney winner?
    Calzaghe vs Eubank

Calzaghe scoring to KDs on the way to a wide points victory

    Should obviously be Calzaghe

Although not all fights when Calzaghe was prime or even at SMW, but logic tells us all roads lead to Calzaghe

    Calzaghe beat Eubank
    Calzaghe beat Jones
    Eubank beat Benn
    Jones beat Toney
Froch lost to faded Kessler who Calzaghe beat when prime
Ward fought faded versions of fighters Calzaghe beat

It all leads to a Calzaghe victory

Is this a troll post ?

Calzaghe stopping a prime RJJ when he couldn't stop a totally shot version ?

Canelo winning a wide points victory over Toney ?

Eubank being able to outpoint both Ward and Canelo is also far fetched.

I remember when Calzaghe was one of the most debated fighters on these boards.
