Your guess is part right, the other is they defected too late. Now that your mentioned, who were the "many others". Because Rigondeaux would knock your @$$ out if got too close, Lara was in two fights of the year and Barthelemy started to be more defensive, not running in his latest stage of his career, so who?

Azim calling out shot-to-bits Kambosos Jr for a September clash. I doubt they'd be able to afford the money to get Kambosos in the ring.

Whilst Kambosos would be a decent step up fight for Azim, it is a bad look to call out a guy immediately after he has suffered a stoppage loss...

Interesting video on Cuban boxing making the case that their particular style is one of the best in the world. Relies on "tactics, precision and MOVEMENT and not power " which makes them dominant in the Olympics and that style is brought to the pros.

Movement not power makes for boxers running to avoid getting hit. This is a pure fact about the majority of Cuban boxers.
Sometimes makes for boring pro fights.

    Hahaha.

My self and The Squire are all about A1 standard, Alpha Brit warrior bonding, Frank.

Not mutual bodily fluids exchanges in dingy London hotel rooms. WE put the 'H' into hetro.

But for a show of sheer Alpha Brit warrior dominance ONLY, we could maybe hit the great outdoors, and physically 'dog' the entire male Hyde Park doggers hordes of a Saturday night.

No doubt any ladies that happen to be present, would be left mightily impressed....

All very, very true, squire. Never truer words could ever be spoken.

AND we could go on, and on, and on... with many other examples of our Brit warrior brilliance.

But we won't, squire, 'Cos we're very quietly modest too...

No, it is not a fact. Mention the running Cubans, please. Cuba has dominated amateur boxing for decades, knocking out other fighters when and after the use of headgear, Guys like Savon, Milian, Romero, Herrera, Stevenson and Jose Gomez were seek and destroy fighters and conscious of the defense too, Casamayor was a technician that always was trying to hurt you, just like Hurtado just to mention fighters from the 90's, all that running $h1t started because a promoter was hurt, when his potential cash cow got derailed by Rigondeaux, the running style is a lie, if it were the norm you would have already mentioned the least 10 runners Cubans fighters, but you can't. There are runners in every country except Mexico, Philippines and Japan.

Jeez that's shocking. Kambosos is on terrible form, well past his best and a one hit wonder, and he's not even a real light welterweight.

“His Excellency” wouldn’t accept Azim fighting Kambosos Jr on the Eubank vs Benn II card, just like he didn’t accept Azim fighting Montana Love on the previous one lol.

@Darni187 You seem to know a lot about Azim’s career. Any other potential opponents?
