Toney vs Jirov and Ward vs Augustus. Brutal inside fights.

100% agree--that first Leonard Duran fight could've been fought in a WWI foxhole! To this day it's the greatest display of two fighters in non-stop hand to hand combat I've ever seen!!

This is among the craziest endings to a fight I've ever seen. If I'm right, its both corners simultaneously pulling their guy out at the end of the same round.

Brutal pace and brilliant exchanges all the way through, and they could've fought in a 3ft ring.

Essentially his retirement fight bar the Cooney head-on collision with no survivors. Was way past it against LeDoux already. Cobb on the other hand was undefeated, just beat stopped Shavers, and was ranked #9.

A good win at that stage of his career.

I'm still waiting for someone to come out and post the rematch. I know that Jawbreaker had highlights of the fight up at some point, but I've never seen em.

Yeah both corners decided to stop the fight due to how brutal the fight was for both guys. I don't think there's been any other fights at all that ended prematurely due to being too violent. Unreal stuff.

This is probably the poster fight for trench warfare - either this or Duran-Leonard 1.
