What a fight this would be,eh? A fight of a hypothetical year for certain.

Both tough as teak and ferocious. The pace set would be off the scale and I think that it would go to the cards when Duran's superior all round skill carries him to a victory by around three or four points.

The best of Roberto Duran would demolish the best of what Julio Chavez
    was at welter.
This fight would be much more competitive at lightweight peak vs peak,
Though I would still favor Duran.
Chavez simply didn't carry the extra weight as well as Duran did, and
    it really is that simple.

Ummm....what? They're both 5'7. Duran made 147 legit Chavez never really did, Duran takes it. Don't comment on things you obviously know NOTHING about.

First you say 5'7... Then you say 147... Which is it Slugger?

When I met Chavez, he looked to be about 6'1, but after regaining my ability to walk and going to meet Duran, Roberto looked to be 5'4! Don't lose sight of the truth, people.

The question was Duran vs Julio Cesar Chavez SR, not JR. Chavez SR is 5'7 the same as Duran, Chavez JR is 6 feet. 147 is the WEIGHT, YOU don't know what you're talking about.

Okay, maybe there is some truth to what you say and I didn't know something important. Are you guys saying that Duran is actually Chavez's dad? Like his literal biological one?

At this point you're either trolling or STUPID. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Okay, well, when you get down from the latter, let me know so we can have a proper conversation. Who even asked you to start replying to me on an Internet forum when you're doing gutters or whatever TF.
