Incredible sums of money down the pan. The channel on the Sky Platform has disappeared, the customer service telephone number has disappeared, nearly all of the content worth watching is on Box Office, the number of regular subscribers in the UK around 261 and the non Box Office content is very poor. One would think even Rich Russians or His Excellent Turkey would realise by now that DAZN is a huge flop, is still of little interest to 99.99% of the great British public after 5 years and highly unlikely to succeed in the future. They would be better off having the equivalent of Boxnation on the Sky Platform with a monthly price of £14.99 with a 100% commitment to no Box Office events for subscribers.
My dad signed up to DAZN for the month to watch the Club World Cup. Said it's constantly buffering or blurring. Has no issues with other apps on his smart tele. DAZN is a crock of shyte.
Tell him to join Bet365 and deposit £5 as all matches are also streamed on that website, the Bet365 streams are 21 secs ahead of the DAZN Delayed Broadcast 'Live' Stream plus you can get it on full screen as well. He does not need to bet and he will see plenty of football on there throughout the year as well.
If this wasn’t dressed up as a legit sports media venture, you’d swear it was a Ponzi scheme. $6–7 billion in cumulative losses, year after year of red ink—and no viable path to ever making it back. At this point, it’s not about profit. It’s about timing: When do the owners cut their losses… or pawn it off to some deep-pocketed Saudi fund willing to buy the other 95% of the mirage? DAZN’s haemorrhaging cash faster than it can stream fights, and even their glossy UI can’t mask the rot. DAZN isn’t a media platform—it’s a financial abyss, primped for a cold, calculated exit.
I see they have three PPV's shows coming up in the next month and are doing a bundle where you save 20% if buying two of them together. I can only imagine the amount of more money they will lose in the upcoming years.
By the way : I'm amazed at how many Youtubers are currently busy talking up Dillian Whyte and describing him as a very dangerous opponent for Itauma. Give me a f...... break !
Awhile ago most shows from America were included in the subscription, including some of the Alvarez fights, possibly the 2nd Golovkin one, as well. Can’t recall when they started rooking us. They’re really pushing it with the forthcoming triple hit though. Zurdo should be within the subscription. It’s a disgrace that Paul’s the excuse for the charge. Berlanga! and Tom Zepeda v Jerry Stevenson, will hardly please anyone, especially Turki! Fortunately because of it’s time, Usyk can be seen in a pub, however on it’s own, as so far it has a limp undercard.
This content is protected Even worse, Aussies were charged $40 for Opetaia and $50 for Kambosos, on top of DAZN subscription, in the space of 6 days.
