“George Foreman had the best chin. I hit him and I hit him a lot of times, a lot of times, 17 punches one time! Lennox Lewis had a great chin. I went back and watched the fights and the people who knocked him out [did so] because he had a different mindset for them. He didn’t fight smart with them ‘cause he felt he could beat them. Everybody he pursued and thought that he could beat, they ended up knocking him out – that’s Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman. I came to respect him ‘cause I know in the last fight I buckled him a few times but he didn’t go.”

Well, I'm happy with myself now

I find it interesting he didn't put Mercer above Lewis. Ofc it's probably because he managed to put Ray down, but from memory, he hurt Lewis at least once in their two fights.

Perhaps he thought he landed more of his best shots on Lewis.

I do not think Lennox's chin was as good as Muhammad Ali's, but I do not think it was as bad as Ingemar Johansson's either. I think he had a good chin, not great, but pretty darn good!

No. He was in plenty of wars and survived them. His real issue was a punch he didn’t see coming. Outside of that, he’d tank it and give better than he got. He had plenty of junkyard dog in him and was mean as hell in the pocket.

Lennox had an above average chin, but below average concentration at times. I also think his love of a tear up, even after Mannie 'refined' him was something of a weak spot in his make up. I never appreciated him when he was around, but I do now, really cool, complex cat who liked to stand and bang even when he didn't have to. It wasn't his chin that was an issue it was the positions it found itself in wjen he forgot to box....

Not bad at all but between average and quite good.

I wouldn't say he had a "fine" chin, but it was decent for single shots.

But I agree, sometimes he'd leave himself wide open. He could have lapses in defense/awareness and could be caught off guard. In the case of Rahman, it was pure arrogance, and he and Stewart swiftly corrected this adopting the more cautious jab and grab style Stewart was known for when training tall guys.

    "Fine" meaning ok, not great.

    Fair enough.

In America, usually we say fine when we say something is in high esteem. "That's a fine woman...!" Meaning she's gorgeous.

Although sometimes the context just means okay or decent. Like asking a teen how their day was and they say fine in a dismissive way to get the conversation over.

Lol yeah I get ya. I use both versions of the word, but you can't really tell my tone through text.

Down here in Florida (separate from America) I hear the good version of "fine" more often than not, but again, depends on context.

Lol Florida may as well be an alternative timeline in Earth like DC's multiverse. The weather (why the hell is it so damn muggy even at night?!?), prehistoric animals, and culture are so different from everywhere else. Then there's the infamous "Florida man".

Although as an Ohio native, I can't really talk trash. We experience 5 seasons in one week, our potholes could kill a dinosaur, and we've got whole zip codes with crappy cell phone towers (hillbilly heaven).

But thats whats make him great thouht, he took punches from punchers like
Frank Bruno (35 kos of 36 wins)
Phil Jackson (27 kos in 30 wins)
Tommy Morrison (39 kos in 45 wins)
Shannon Briggs (24 kos out of 30 wins)
Holyfield, Michael Grant, Tua, Rahman, Tyson and lets not forget his fight vitali klitschko
But what is a glass jaw. Punches you dont see coming, weither you like it or not, you'll go down and thats the bottom line, it dosent make you a glass jaw

Cause Bowe was a piece of ****, he always was a mentally unstable man, even in his amateur days.
In 98, he kidnapped his wife and 5 childrens and stabbed the wife in her chest
