The best version of Bruno vs the Dubois of the AJ fight. Who would you pick?

50/50. Until I see Dubois replicate that performance a few more times, I am still on the fence.

I’m not sure what to think about Dubois. I’ve seen in him In action and yes he can fight. But he’s also been stopped by two men who were a lot older than himself, one of whom never went anywhere after beating him. I’m told that he’s improved a bit and that’s certainly possible. If he wins his rematch with Usyk then maybe there’s hope. But if he is soundly beaten then I don’t know if he’ll ever be world class

Isn't he world class for stopping AJ? He at least is a belt holder

he didn’t just lose to Usyk bit to me seemed to lay down. Usky is pretty old now and if Dubois doesn’t beat him it will say a lot

I think Dubois is somewhat of a live dog for the Usyk rematch - in part because it seems he has improved and appears more committed but perhaps more for the possibility that at age 38?, Usyk may well have lost a further step or two.

The H2H metric for Usyk in last 2 fights has only been Fury and Tyson wasn’t getting any better himself.

One thing, Dubois is an unashamedly dirty fighter, and to date he has gotten away with a lot tbh.

Will the ref for the Usyk rematch be so affording to Daniel? - dunno, but if he is, it could make all the difference. Dubois was also relatively light for the first Usyk fight, he will likely be some 15 lbs heavier for the rematch - whatever difference that may or may not make.

As to vs Bruno, as Dubois’ performances stand to date, I’m also 50/50 on the outcome.

I will add that when push came to shove, Frank knew how to get rough and tough in there himself and we know he could bang (see first Tyson fight).

Frank was more than rough and a bit dirty as well ... I never saw Frank look as good or have as much game as Dubois did vs Joshua but I'd like to see what Dubois shows up vs Usky next.

Bruno lost all the important fights and only won against past prime fighters, he did hold the WBC belt but he didn't manage to defend it, Dubois has already achieved more than him and has victories against better opponents...
