Because as the smaller man he's beaten all the best heavyweights of his era all of whom are bigger then him? Not hard to see if you're being objective instead of shifting goalposts posts and creating revisionist history about him

If you choose to take the position that they actually were the best heavyweights. Funny though that none of these bigger guys did better than Breidis vis a vis Usyk

They were the champs how were they not the best? Fury arguably did in the first fight

I actually agree with most of these

I think Joe Frazier is a bad stylistic matchup for Usyk

Think a younger Fury would beat Usyk

Fury was nearly knocked out. Breidis was never remotely close to being stopped. Fury had beaten two ranked opponents in the prior eight years and three in his entire career. Not sure how we are supposed to have any idea how good he was given his resume.

Had to cheat to beat another cruiserweight who put him over with his light hands

Steve cunningham was a better fighter, just size and dirty tactics beat him

What kind of dumb logic is this?

George Foreman couldn't even drop Ali

A 22lb lighter Euro level Henry Cooper who is the same size as Bivol dropped Ali like a sack of lead potatoes and had the bell not come to Ali's rescue would've knocked him out

Maidana did way better vs Floyd than Manny and Clenelo did

I could keep going all day

The problem with Usyks heavyweight opponents is their lack of credentials.

How many talented smaller guys did they beat?

Dubois was nearly knocked out by former cruiser Lerena and he's arguably Usyks best win at heavyweight

People always say this, and I love Joe, but Frazier lacked the southpaw killing right, and Usyk is actually one of the few who could match him in volume. I see this as a good fight, but hardly unwinnable for Usyk.

He had a badly damaged knee. It was obviously a one-off.

Frazier's volume is much more than Usyks. FOC Frazier was also much more than a volume punching brawler, it was sustained, immense, intelligent, relentless pressure.

I would love to see that matchup

Curious to see how Usyk would deal with someone like Joe Frazier who would stick with him like a mosquito in the summertime

Also Fraizer can match Usyk pace with his work rate and stamina

Usyk is more durable but less powerful

    Awesome fight

Agreed swarmers are always tough match ups for boxer types.

I don't think Usyk has the power to stop Frazier's forward momentum so he's going to be in for a long hard night.

Chisora is a poor man's Frazier but he gassed in the 2nd half of the fight where as Frazier wouldn't he gets stronger as the fight goes on and that's the problem with the Heavyweights now.

Most of the Super Heavyweights aren't conditioned to go 12 hard rounds that's why Usyk always comes out on top not only because of his skills but he's much better conditioned aswell.
