Re watching Bivol vs Canelo and thinking this distancing and spacing out of the fight is what Crawford is going to want to duplicate and just checked Bivol's reach (72 inches/183 cm) and then checked Crawford's reach and he has more reach than Bivol (74 inches/188 cm). Thats insane! That means Crawford can literally just pepper Canelo from a distance of safety like Bivol did while moving around Canelo's cement feet all night.

I'm starting to feel like this might look like a blowout.

Bud is also big and physically strong himself. Spence had no advantage over him except height. If Bud beats Canelo, he should target Bivol who is not a physical fighter.

Nah he would lose to Bivol. The difference between him and Canelo is that Canelo can fight small against bigger guys but Bud has always had a reach advantage against everyone and needs to have that for his style to work. So one can move up and effectively beat bigger opponents but the other cant since he typically needs to be the bigger opponent

Honestly, Canelo was able to close distance even against Bivol. He just couldn’t get through Bivol’s high guard. A lot of times he closed distance rather easily but his punches would just end up getting blocked. Then as the fight went on, Bivol started to counter Canelo.

Bivol has very good footwork, he's got quick feet. So he was able to get in and out of range and as you said, has a very good high guard stance. And while Canelo was able to close the distance, it opened him up to counters. While he can pressure, he's not a natural pressure fighter. He's a great mid-range counter puncher with premier head movement.

The way Bivol and Crawford step away while in the high guard is very similar though... its like trying to hit a heavy bag while its swinging away from you. Impossible to hit it clean.

Crawford should fight Bivol after Canelo. Nah, why stop there. He should chase after Usyk.

Floyd Mayweather has the same arm length 26" as Wladimir Klitschko, according to HBO's tale of the tape.

Klitschko had wide shoulders though, giving him a longer wingspan.

Still Wouldn't get credit if he beat those guys lol

Bud seems to annoy many. Granted he hasn't got a list of all time greats on his resume, but neither does any other current fighter

Dude has climbed through the weights collecting titles and wasn't he the first 2 division, 4 belt champ? I may be wrong about that

But he is now fighting an elite guy for undisputed 2 divisions up from his current weight and could be the the first 3 weight undisputed champ in the 4 belt era and the guy he is fighting was a champ at 175

He is a weight bully who has never once fought anyone who weighed more than him or had bigger arms than him. Weight divisions are close to pointless now that there's no same day weigh ins. If he'd began his career back when there were same day weigh ins he'd have started at 154 and would be considered an average fighter.

Lots of current fighters have great resumes: Usyk, Canelo, Bivol all have loads of great names. Even Teo has a better resume than Crawfraud.

So does Rafael Espinoza, he should be next in line to fight Canelo!
