...my 2¢:

GRS & Schofield will each cruise to a UD victory over their respective opponents. Dorticós and Farmer were both world class operators at one point, but that was several years ago. Dorticós already looked washed against Briedis in 2020 (in the second half especially) and has fought nobodies since. Farmer has lost 4 of 7 in that same time and currently three on the spin.

I want to believe JCC Jr., much as he's far from my favorite boxer, can defend the sport from this cretinous fraud - but the fact is he'd old & fat & slow and hasn't looked decent himself since about 2016. (and was tbh always pretty mid to begin with, outside a single round versus Maravilla)

I love René Antonio but fear that Father Time is going 4-0 tonight as the Nicaraguan will fall to Victor Morales (a talent far inferior to Gemelo at his peak weight and in his prime)

Avious Griffin vs. Julian Rodríguez Mullen and Raúl Curiel García vs. Víctor Ezequiel Rodríguez Escobal are both interesting fights where neither participant is a geezer.

I know absolutely nothing about Yolanda Guadalupe Vega Ochoa, but if she upsets Holm - good for her, I guess. It would actually spare Holm a brutal beating at the hands of Chantelle Cameron.

Starting the night off with clinching and rabbit punching galore.

 

Paying this zero mind as the Night of Champions main event is starting.

And even were it not ..this is a bootyjuice opener. Give me two novices punching hell bent for leather in a wild 4-rounder any day.

 

Scrappy is a featherfisted wussy; so is Zurdo. Both scared to fully open up.

So in that sense, MVP and GBP have done an excellent job of matchmaking, like with like and fairly even. But this isn't good to watch.

Haven't been scoring, don't care who gets the nod. Off to watch Punk vs. Cena...
