Holyfield beats Rocky down. It would be fun for a few rounds but Rocky would also be a step behind and a couple punches behind. Only a matter of time before he is just too beaten down. Don't race a John Deere against a Porsche.

Uh, was Marciano ever NOT green? Dude didn't fight an opponent with a pulse until 35 fights in. Holy squared off against title challenger veteran Qawi in his 12th fight.

 

Take him off the PEDs & let's see how he copes with 8oz gloves bumping him on the head for 15 rounds.

 

I don't think he would have to worry about going 15.

 

A former 175lber jail bird beat Holy on my card with more pronounced disadvantages than Marciano.

 

Holyfield would still be significantly bigger but he’d be a significantly worse (in some aspects) boxer then he’d become… Holyfield was fed to the wolves and learnt the hard way this would be his hardest test at the weight and I suspect Marciano is better than Qawi.

 

Marciano beats the Holyfield of Qawi 1, perhaps stops him. The improved Holyfield of Qawi 2 is a very good fight that Holyfield has a good chance of winning, but I still favor Marciano

 

Marciano was better than Frazier and 10 times better than Qawi, who gave Holyfield helluva fight.

Marciano beats CW Holyfield, not with ease but the same way he beat Ezzard Charles.

 

That was before Evander Holyfield was "Evan Fields," so Marciano breaks him down and destroys him.

 

He was always on PED’s he went up to HW by not cutting weight. Holy himself said he was huge for the weight “a monster”

 

Credit to the poster for finally putting Rocky where he belongs, in a cruiserweight matchup. This would have been a war of a fight, both guys don't take no for an answer and never give up. I can't make up my mind as to who would win this but I see a close fight while it lasts. I think it does go 15 and would be a close decision for someone. Keep in mind Qawi gave him all he could handle the first time. I know Evander didn't have many fights at the time. Qawi was a natural 175 pounder. Rock is a little bigger, hits a little harder. Would have been a barnburner.

Qawi was faster, hit harder and had a better gas tank as proven against BETTER opponents.
