Hearn will probably ask for a no breathing on the day cause for Eubank

Regrettably didn't watch the first fight because I simply wasn't mithered but I'll be definitely be tuning in for this one.

I think there’s two reasons which sum it up:

    (1) It’s the biggest money fight on the table. Eubank clearly motivated purely by financial gain now. Hearn made a few jibes in the build up a few months ago about Eubank losing money in his poker ventures, maybe something to it.

    (2) Eubank believes he is miles better than Benn and it’s therefore the “easiest” fight on the table. Of course the first fight wasn’t “easy” but Eubank is quite a cerebral fighter (more so than he gets credit for) and probably backs himself to make adjustments to win more comfortably. He did make good adjustments in the Smith rematch despite what Smith was saying about not coming in 100% for it.

The first fight was enough, to be fair it turned out to be a good event but that should have been it. Obviously Hearn is desperate to bleed last bit of money out of the circus. TBH I don't give a **** about either Eubank or Benn, they will get millions either way so I certainly don't have any feeling toward any of them. I wont be paying for this **** show and quite frankly couldn't give toss if Eubank starts complaining about the weight cut or being fined bla bla bla. He signed it and agreed it for the money so tough.

The first fight ended up being a commercial and competitive success but Eubank Jr was forced into a dangerous weight cut and rehydration conditions. No one wants to see that again.

If a rematch does happen then unless Eubank Jr gets no rehydration clause and a more comfortable weight then I don't want to see it. It is irresponsible and the BBBofC needs to step in this time. Lets not pretend certain conditions needs to apply as if it is a title fight or an eliminator, its a catchweight.

Benn would be better off fighting opponents at his own age in his own weight class.

Excellent post, sums it up entirely and perfectly.

I still think Eubank Jr needs to get a better deal for himself this time in terms of rehydration clause and weight limit.

I don’t think Eubank quite realises the damage the first fight has done to his durability.

I think if it is under the same set of weight restrictions, he gets stopped inside 8 this time

With both fighters happy to rematch it's a case where the initial agreements seem to be part of the stipulation of a second fight.

Jr team if doing their job properly would of pushed for and got in the event when he won that Benn only gets the second fight under a different rehydration clause at the bare minimum.

It's a dangerous route to navigate again a nasty weight cut.

Don’t see the need for it so soon.

Think Hearn is killing Benn career but he’s just looking for a money grab.

Eubank it makes sense to take fight will probably get more for this fight than he would for any fighter outside Canelo maybe? Just wonder what his motivation will be

This really should have been a one-off. The build-up trying to sell these two again is going to be absolutely painful. The egg cracking by Eubank, the fact everybody was on board to see a drug cheat get bashed, Senior appearing on the night, all things that can't be repeated. The rematch just feels like two ridiculously over-paid Nepo babies absolutely taking the **** and going to that cashpoint once too often.

It will be a repeat of the same scenario as before their first fight.

    Sad.

There was no limit to all the dirty tricks they did to Eubank Jr. before the first fight. I fear it will be even worse this time.

I've heard that Eubank Jr. makes more money from taking the rematch against Benn than from facing Canelo.

Agreed, but at the same time Eubank has felt Benn at his peak weight, so he knows he has nothing to be really afraid of, he will make the weight and box sensibly next time and put it on him late on and get him out of their in style hopefully.
