    Personally I think this could have been a very tough fight stylistically even for Chavez at his best. How does Chavez handle the skillful powerful southpaw Nazarov? Could he still overwhelm him in the same manner like he did against Rosario or is Nazarov too strong for him?

    Julio was in peak form at 135. Not only does he take Orzubek. He takes Whitaker, also.

    Chavez didn’t have any particular problems with southpaws (Whitaker aside - but I don’t think that was anything to do with the southpaw stance).

    Nazarov was a good fighter but I think peak Chavez was at least a level up from him.

    I like Chavez by decision or late stoppage. I honestly think 135 was Chavez' best weight.
