People claim that Oleksandr Usyk would've beaten George Foreman moderately. And would defeat Muhammad Ali. Even a professional boxer said Usyk would win against Muhammad What do you guys think

Its all hypothetical. Usyk has traits that can trouble any heavyweight in history, that's as far as we know. Tbh Usyk does beat Foreman pretty clearly, but he might go down to a body shot

Grew up as a big Lewis fan in the UK. He was a great boxer but far from infallible - back in the day UK fans and press could be very harsh on him due to his chin, and perceived lack of heart(?!) and dedication. His reputation has only grown and improved in the ensuing years (when he retired without rematching Vitali he was widely regarded as a coward!)

I pick Usyk, given that I believe he is better than he has even shown - and also because his heart and dedication is NEVER in question. Lewis could blow hot and cold, even as a big fan I would feel disappointed by his performances sometimes.

Chin, ok. Heart? How did Lewis lack heart? Man he went through some wars, and every time he had a mean ass junkyard dog in him. He had a ton of heart. Just blew hot and cold, got himself knocked out once by clowning around and getting caught mid-clown (people seem to forget that KO by Rahman was 100% Lewis's own doing), and got sparked legitimately once by McCall.

Can't imagine how he felt after that first Rahman fight. Imagine losing your belts because you felt the need to lower both your hands and stick your tongue out at an opponent. Probably the dumbest way any champ ever lost.

Side note: Bam did his best to reenact this against Sunny, but didn't go down when he got clocked doing exactly the same thing Lewis did against Rahman.

    Close call.

Lewis never fought a southpaw of Usyk's quality but he had a very good jab, excellent right hand and a powerful uppercut that could spell doom to Usyk.
On the other hand, Usyk's movements, footwork, agility, quickness and accuracy can trouble any heavyweight.

We also know that Lewis was not particularly at ease against boxers with good footwork and he didn't have the best of stamina, whereas Usyk had the tremendous ability to up the pace during the last three rounds.

I think the fight will be a close UD going either way.

Listen, Usyk isn't 5'10 Tyson of Tua who is gonna plod around trying to land one big KO punch with T-rex arms.

Usyk is going to do to Lewis what he did to AJ, who is basically the same fighter but with a better chin. People don't want to admit that but AJ is not worse than Lewis, in fact outside of that Dubious fight was less sloppy, and would beat basically all the same people and I doubt he'd lose to McCall. Lewis also wouldn't beat that old Wlad either, he'd have been KO'd COLD by that RH.

Lewis got one-punched twice. AJ has never been one-punched dead. Not only would Usyk win, he might even rock Lewis like he did Fury. But Lewis wouldn't recover and he'd be doing his canvas nap after a similar handful of clean follow-up shots Usyk landed on Fury.

You people need to get over Lewis. He got destroyed by some pretty mediocre fighters.

Lewis is maybe the historical HW champion it's hardest for me to see Usyk figuring out how to beat.

Joshua fights like 21st century Frank Bruno. If anything Lewis is a mix of Fury and Foreman stylistically

I see it as a great fight either can win. Usyk is a totally unique fighter and no one has faced anyone exactly like him, but Usyk has never faced anyone with the combination of big, hard-hitting, intelligent and determined as Lewis. Love 'em both.

I personally think that he would look to hurt Lewis, and also exhaust him. Lewis’ two chinks were his chin and sometimes his conditioning. Lewis did VERY well against straight up fighters - a southpaw mover with an unstoppable engine would be a hard night for him.

Lewis has multiple ways he can win, and Usyk would have to fight a near perfect fight to squeak by a decision.

They have similar ring IQs, but Lewis also has a ton of power. If things aren't going his way in a chess match, Lewis has the ability to turn it into a brawl. Usyk doesn't have the power to hurt him, and if the plan is to wear Lewis down; that will backfire. Lewis was a master of making his opponent carry his weight all the while punishing them with clubbing shots on the inside.

Lewis probably stops him. If Usyk sees the final bell, his face will look like it went through a meat grinder.
